ako rin po newbie sa audio setup...
i plan to buy seps for the front speakers of our MZ3-S...
what do you suggest na brand na mejo cheap(tight kasi budget) but ok naman quality that would fit sa mz3??
do i need to buy an amp pa ba?? or kaya na ng stock HU ng MZ3...
gusto ko lang sana to have a clearer sound system...

Had the same budget problem. I had to utilize the stock speaker locations.
Got my Targa X402c separates for around Php 1400 at Daiichi Megamall. Siguro cheaper pa talaga 'to if you buy from Raon or Banawe. 4" mids with 1" tweeters. 75W max. Lifetime warranty.
DIY install. Done in less than 30 minutes. Big improvements on clarity and bass even with my stock old tape deck. No amps. No subs. Bass +3. Treble +1. Volume set at 15 and I can't hear anything from outside the car. Ito talaga ang bang for the buck. It won't win any prizes but I'm happy with it
No idea sa stock size ng front speakers ng Mz3. Try mo sukatin.Last edited by JohnM; November 8th, 2005 at 03:52 PM.

I plan to get an Mp3 HU ---> Pioneer DEh-4750
then a sub Kicker S8L7
then an amp to power the sub either kicker or Lighning Bolt.
Questions:
1) with the current setup, what seps are good?
Probably SPL muna kaso with the 8 incher sub, baka SQ+ na. I actually don't know the outcome of the setup after this but I'm willing to experiment.
2)is it still advisable to get a separate active crossover vs. the crossover of the HU? And, what are the pros and cons?
Vehicle is a gen2 '01 strada currently with JBL seps up front and OEM Mitsu speakers at the rear.

mga sir, patanong lang po. Newbie po at not so knowledgeable sa electronics. sensya na po at medyo detalyado
I have Pioneer 4750 HU, Separates(lightning audio) and 4 ch V12(fake, of course). Yun pong stock front speaker (2-way coax 150watts) ay tinanggal at pinalitan nga po nung Separates. Right now po, yung rear na stock (50watts) ay disabled.
Ang inquiry ko po:
1. can i put the removed 150 watts sa rear? ok po ba resulta non?
2. yun po bang front and rear ay sa HU konektado dapat and sub lang ang sa amp? any recommendation for the sub?
thanks po!

January 27th, 2006 10:46 AM #588gurus, pls comment sa equipment: JBL GTO 75.4II 520 watts 4 ch amp, JL Audio 12W3V2 sub on a sealed box, Rockford Fosgate Fanatic X seps. hilig ko r&b, jazz, bass music. ill use my HU sa mz3 ko. gusto ko crisp sound with moderate but deep boom boom. match ba itong setup and will this produce and complement the type of sound and music i like to listen to? salamat po!

February 1st, 2006 07:54 AM #590Concorde has two kinds, a Pyle one for 500 pesos, and another kind, expensive too. (pero may clipping led siya, so probably worth it if you are going to tune it yourself...and if you are going to use it for seps, instead of subs.
