For budget meal setup try Jeff Tan sa Araneta Ave near Big Berts. Di ko pa siya na try so can't comment on his workmanship.

You can also try TEAM Cars sa Banawe. Ok din sila gumawa. Look for Kerwin.

Malimit nasa 80+ to 90 dbs at 1 watt measured at 1 meter. Lakas na. The rest of the watts is there to provide power for the peaks.

Qutoe from Car audio and electronics "leaving subwoofers aside for the moment, unless you are intent on destroying your speakers and your hearing, your ave listening level will require less than 1 watt of power into your main speakers. Just 1 watt into a typical car speaker will produce over 90 db spl. The rest of the amps power is waiting there to deliver very loud, exciting burst in the music. For those peaks, 25 watts per channel will give you over 105 db spl equal to the loudest movie theater sound effects or a live orchestral crescendo.

You get 3 db in reservewith 50 watts per channel. ....... A pair of 10 or 12 inch subs with 50 to 200 watts each should be enough to give you a real nice kick in your bottom end."
IMHO lng po it depends naman sa brand of amp your using like yung mga RF na amps i use to have one 150RMS*4ohms so 75x2 being used on a 2 12" orion subs rated 250min 400 max*4ohms, ok naman then bridged it to one sub mas umokay bigay nung bass rated 150 pero birthsheet is 170 to 180w one of the underrated amps na alam ko at naexperince ko na marami sa kanila old school amps like soundstreams and PPi I thingk right tuning and sub box lng malaki na maitutulong!!!
    again IMHO lng po peace

I agree that with more power you get more headroom and potentially better sound. What I was trying to explain is that it is not necessary to perfectly match power ratings of speakers (mids and high particularly) and amps. And that having your amps produce less power than your speakers power handling capability wll not damage the speakers.

I alos agree 100% that having the right tuning and box will be a great help in making your system sound better.

Two way is tweeter and midbass. 3 way usually tweeter, midrange plus midbass. Sometimes tweeter, super tweeter plus midbass.

Normally ok na 2 way specially kung coaxial ang speaker mo. Pero kung seperater or component speakers, mas preferable ang 3 way.

Pag nagpapatugtog ng malakas for a long time di makahabol ung charging rate ng alternator ko. Malas at walang available na replacement sa labas na mas mataas ang rating. Pag salpakan ko ng secondary battery ung sasakyan, masosolve ba ung problema sa pagpapatugtog ng malakas for a long time (ung mawawala ung tunog) or hindi?

Ano ba ang problem? Can you list your system? Does your amp cut off when you play at loud volume for a long time? If it does, your amp might be going into protect mode. This happens when your amp starts to overheat. Easy solution is to make sure your amps have good airflow. Make sure heatsinks are not dirty or blocked. Also never mount amps upsidedown. You can also add cooling fans or lower your volume.

If that is not the problem, try adding a capacitor. It will give your alternator time to catch up.

    James,
Ano budget? Bfrands and equipment will depend on your budget. If you want spl, be prepared to spend on your amps and subs. I'd recommend a ported box with 12 or 15 inch subs. Get an amp that will meet or slightly exceed your subs wattage.

I suggest canvass ka muna. Go to a few car audio shops and ask for their recommended system and price. Kung budget meal, try mo kay jeff tan sa Araneta, midrange try TEAM cars sa Banawe or Ginza or Jett cars. For show car or competition system, you can't go wrong with Mickey's, DB Audio etc..
