Hi BlackOmen,
Peace be with you!
Your plan of putting such setup is ok. Walang kaso dyan.
For me,
Basic setup:
HU, Front and Rear Speakers, Sub
Intermediate setup:
Basic setup + Amplifier
Advance setup:
Intermediate setup + Sound Processors
Either setup, as long as you know how to tweak the sound then its ok na. Of course brands makes a difference and series under each brands. For me, since I'm the type of person that wants to setup once, I usually get good brands para one time investment nalang. Hindi kasi din kayang habulin ang models e. Every year halos may bago at nagbabago.
Active subs, my friend got one. Infinity Bass Link bought sa Autosports sa may 3rd floor Mega Mall Bldg A near carpark exit. Sa umpisang gamit, matigas ang tunog dahil bago. Hindi pa masyadong nagloosen yung rubber ng sub but now, ok yung tunog. Kayang kaya i-fill ang suv nya. Nagpaaudition din kami ng Pioneer na actiuve sub, may kahinaan sa tunog but pwede na din. Pero if talagang bayo ang habol, passive sub then amplifier ang dapat.
Hope this helps a bit. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

naka-budget set-up din ako by jeff tan.
kenwood mp3 HU and targa seps sa harap, less than 10k lang.

Hi Nat2x,
Peace be with you!
Going to be honest with you. DLS seps are great! Good brand sya. Kalevel ng mga Infinity yan. however NBN are Taiwan made subs. Nag tanong ako from an experienced about NBN brand since hindi ako familiar and found out na not too good (no offend to anyone on this). Parang sayang na combination sya with the DLS. DLS mo will give you good clarity but I dont know if the sub can balance out the clarity. But then again I can be wrong and you might like or be contented on its performance.
Sorry if I offended anyone on this comment. Hindi sinasadya.
Hope this helps.
Thank you!

pang clarity din daw kc ang NBN, more on SQ than SPL., kaya naisip ko na baka pwede i-combine ung subs sa seps ko.,

un nalang cguro gagawin ko ill get the pioneer 4750mp. front speakers blaupunk 3 way ba o two way lang? and yung subs na bazzoka 5" built in amplifier? sa back ill leave the stock speakers lang dun.
btw ano ba pagkakaiba and advantages disadvantages ng 2 way 3 way saka regular speakers?
ok na siguro yan, anyway di naman ako audiophile, i just want good music panlaban sa trapik besides i cant afford na gumastos ng 30k sa sounds hehehe. i hope i can talk my dad into defraying some of the cost. hehehe. pag hindi patay allowance ko hehehe.
tnx.

hi BlackOmen,
I'll suggest you go for Pioneer 4850MP na or if kaya ng budget to add a little pa, go for Pioneer 6850MP * 10,500 to 10,700 (you'll definitely not go wrong with this model. its packed with features).
2 way should deliver more bass than 3 way. Normally 2 way sa front kasi gusto natin mafeel minsan yung drama ng music. By adding bass increases this factor. Although may exception din minsan kasi it also depends sa listening preference natin.
Blaupunkt are good also as speakers. In fact I have their flagship Velocity Seperated installed in my Opel Astra before. Clarity sya. But I will suggest that you go listen to JBL also (available in Autosports at Megamall Bldg A 3rd floor near carpark exit) or Infinity. I think entry level is at around 5000 a pair. If, however, you are decided sa Blaupunkt, yung distributor ay nasa Cubao. But I got some contacts also and can help you out to ask for the price. You just need to give me the model number you prefer. Just try lang to know if there are lower prices.
Sub na active. Have you asked the price of Bazooka sub already? If yes, may I know how much? I have heard the Infinity Bass Link. Ok sya. Although may kamahalan lang nga.
Hear from you. Thanks!

how much ang infinity bass link na 10"? saan ito available? is this product of dai ichi? i prefer active sub because of its space saving design.
It may be variable speed I think. It's slowly being used on cars that either don't have an ICE, or...
