Just finished reading the whole thread from page 1. Hehe. Now I'm planning to buy a whole microtex kit. Kaso sayang yung shampoo ko ang dami pa eh. Hindi ba ayos yun? Micromagic Shampoo+Wax sya. Sayang lang white yung kotse ko. Parang hindi masyadong makintab pag nadetail na.

i finally get to try the UQW, 850+ siya sa blade mas mura sa true value as posted by dbhollanda.

application: very easy, spray on wipe off lang siya, same as mother's spraywax which i used before. the problem with the easy application, parang feel ko it will offer little protection

it rained yesterday, the trunk and spoiler section of the car got wet, nagbebead nga yung water, there were already waterspots on the truck where water has dried up, when i used my finger to wipe the waterspot nawala. overall quite satisfied with the product, tho will observe upon further usage

btw, how much do you need to spray? i do about 1 spray per sq foot

so same tayo ng experienced as i posted dati. what i did was to apply uqw and ocw sa hood and observed. wala nga sa objective ko nung time na yung yun protection sa watermarks e. ang true objective ko nung time na yun is sino ang mas maganda ng magprotect in terms of kintab sa weather natin na araw at ulan...

so by accident ko lang din talaga nalaman na maganda sya mag protect for watermarks...now weekly na ko mag apply ng uqw...sulit na sulit...at mabango pa hehehe...

bango nga niya hehe, will also apply weekly and probably increase quantity on the hood, roof and trunk. mahirap lang makita if you have properly wiped it off sa white car

Try using a cleaner wax first - cleaner waxes or cleaner sealants (like KAIO or Poli-Seal) can work wonders on white.

    where is KAIO available?

what im currently doing is just applying LSP over the sealant applied by bigbert's, so hindi naman talaga detailing yung ginagawa ko. i want to try starting on the first step on our other cars na walang PPP.

    are these steps correct?:
    1. wash car
    2. dry car
    3. clay together with QD
    4. use cleaner wax
    5. apply carnauba wax or sealant
    6. apply lsp

can you guys post your procedures and stuff brands that you are using? thanks

guys, to those of you who want to buy over-the-counter detailing products. ACE Hardware in Festival Mall Alabang is giving out discounts. Microtex products * 20% ; Mother's products at 10%. The rest of the brands also have 10% dsicount. Until month-end as per their staff.

since nagpupunta ka sa bigberts, don ka na bumili. i got my carlack twins -- Kaio and sealant from bigberts. i think 2.6K for the twins na.

quarterly ako gumamit ng carlack twins at eto steps ko:
    - shampoo
    - clay with qd
    - shampoo
    - kaio
    - sealant
    - apply ng wax either nanoglos or reflections or mothers
    - then either nanosliq or reflection top coat or ocw or uqw

    weekly:
    - shampoo or yung no-rinse... solution
    - ocw (pag maaraw) uqw (pag maulan)

    daily:
    - QD

    1. Ano po gamit nyo when claying with QD?
    2. Do you clay the whole car, or yung mga spots na needed claying lang?
    2. Dry muna po ba dapat ang car before claying?
    3. Sa paggamit po ba ng KAIO and sealant, parang wax po ba ito na apply and buff lang?

I'm planning in adding these steps sa usual shampoo, wax and booster QD na ginagawa ko.
Eto yatang mga steps na to ang kulang kaya di ko masyado ma-appreciate. Salamat!

thanks for the reply, so you leave the shampoo muna during claying? or you hose it down and dry it out first?

will do those as you suggested but probably skip nanoglos or reflections and go straight to uqw

my only problem now is how to properly apply the twins, i've been reading less is better as it is hard to buff off

re twins, im also trying with madkatz bf as ive been backreading the detailing thread, tingnan ko nalang san masmura and masconvenient puntahan since i dont bring a car everyday to work

meron bang willing magturo how to properly use the twins hehe iba parin yung reading the instruction to really seeing it in person and im too much of a coward to experiment
