If you are using MF towel, you will not scratch the windshield kahit idiin mo pa. Glass is much, much harder than paint. In order to scratch glass, you need to use an object that is harder than the glass itself.

Recommend ko lang yung Microfiber/MF towel from ACE yung color blue na nakalagay Microfiber Glass Towel. 70 pesos lang kaya di ako nag expect pero nung ginamit ko yung quality niya parang yung sa Microtex. Parang inbetween ng Terry and Plush yung quality. Malambot tas kaya ren mag absorb ng marami. Tapos 50x50cm pa so mas malaki. 80-20 ren yung polyester-polymide content indicated.
Tas okay ren yung microfiber washmitt nila na Blue na tig 150. Comparable or better pa sa Microtex or Armor all na washmitt.

Is it true that you should wash your car with dishwashing liquid before polishing it?
I'm thinking twice of doing it.

not that you should. the idea kasi is before you do polishing, dapat free of any last step product (wax or sealant) yung paint surface para mas effective yung polishing compound. since may degreaser yung dishwashing liquid, it helps to stripped any protection sa paint.

I would still use car shampoos w/o wax(maybe 2-3x) to prep the paint prior polish. prior polishishing, clay is necessary if the paint feels like sand paper. claying also removes wax btw.

if you will use joy, heavily dilute it.

Sino po may marerecommend na decent quality dual action polisher? Na hindi masyado mahal?

Pang DIY detailing lang, wax etc. para lang mabawasan yung swirls.

    Salamat.

You'd be surprised at how much contaminants brand new cars have on their paint ...
