Saw a guy at mias cleaning the windows of the car display using very fine steel wool. He says it is used for the windows only and never for the paint.

Correct. Steel wool #0000 Super fine will not scratch glass. That is different from the steel wool used for dishwashing.

I would like to try using it on my windshields. I got a lot of scratches on window, and windshield aside from water marks. When my tent pole was blown down by typhoon Glenda years ago.

Does the window windshield needs to be wet or not when applying this? Paano ba gamitin yan, pais-is o pa-circular motion na pag punas ang gawa?

Gumamit din ako minsan nyan steel wool 0000 di sya ganun ka effective sa acid rain ended up using a liquid acid rain remover, siguraduhin lang i vacuum ung cowl pagkatapos gumamit ng steel wool dahil meron yan maliliit na piraso nagkakahiwalay at nagiging kalawang pag nabasa bakal kasi yan.
