Common world wide that are availble here are sonax paint protect, opticoat and Cquartz. Atleast these are the brands that i have experienced and have good reviews world wide.
And as ginnova has said, madami na ngayon brands, that are probably rebranded or have their own formula, does it do what it claims? Probably, maybe the installers of these coatings can give you more info about their effectiveness.

Yeah. Once a month lang talaga ako mag Fil and Sil. Tapos once a week naman ang Glos. Then Sliq naman pag kelangan mag-QD.

bro ano yun cquartz finest? is this an offshoot of the original cquartz products? how do you rank the 3 in terms of durability that you mentioned? sonax 3rd? opticoat 1? and cquartz 3?

kung magaspang na ang paint, ibig sabihin makapal na contaminants na nakadikit, need mo na mag-claying. kung wala kang clay, hanap ka ng detailing shop na pwede ka magpa wash and clay then ikaw na lang mag-apply ng wax mo...

Bakit kaya gumaspang yung din paint ng auto ko. 3 weeks ko iniwan sa casa, pag balik magaspang na claying lang ba papagawa pag ganyan? Saan kaya ok sa makati or bgc?

Toyota Pasig f*ckers! They guaranteed that my car was parked in roofed area. The paint was so smooth to touch BEFORE I left it there. So now I need to bring it to a detailing shop. I don't wanna clay because I might damage the paint :cry:

it might be paint overspray from where your car was park at the casa. i sent my car for a rust proof at casa and when they returned it... paint was rough as sand paper! i immediately talked to my SA about it and they gave my car free buffing. they also applied some kind of wax or something before buffing to remove the overspay residue

How do you know if it is paint overspray or from dirt (parked under the sun)

Cquartz finest is the professional version of cquartz, better durability and shine, there is a limited warranty of 2 years from authorized installers.

In terms of duarbility maybe i'll give Opticoat (new version) a slight edge over cquartz finest, ayaw ko lang sa opticoat, prone sa water spots, and hindi gano makintab, that is why meron 2nd chemical na nilalagay to somehow resolve this, mas mtrabaho lang ilagay. Sonax 3rd, 1 year lang claim nila, ok sana since hindi sya mahal compared dun sa dalawa, but yung distributor dito wont give sonax paint protect unless lahat ng gamit mo ay sonax, which I think is absurd.

Clay is non-abrasive by itself.. unless ikaskas mo ang dirt na tinanggal mo sa paint which is hindi naman fault ng clay. Watch youtube video on how to clay. Madali lang yan. Keep the surface well lubricated and always fold the clay to expose clean clay.

Alternative to clay bar is using prep sponge (nanoskin AutoScrub, Magic Eraser sponge) or clay cloth (microfiber towel with rubberized polymer on other side).
