normal ba na sa unang lagay ng polish, glaze and wax eh di kita ang scratches sa hood then after a week litaw nanaman? ano ito natunaw ang wax kasi mainit yung engine? pansin ko kasi ito even nung nanosil and fil then wax ang gamit ko eh. 1st few days naman OK sya. Thanks!

Sir as far as I know the polishing step should have removed minor swirls and defects, yung glaze naman is there to hide any imperfections left behind from thr polishing process to give better paint clarity. baka naalis na yung glaze. Minsan kasi nag IPA wipe down pa after polishing process to remove any polishing oils na natira para mas maganda and matagal ang kapit ng glaze and wax.

i used my old carnauba wax on my rims. pinamigay ko kasi tapos iniwan lang ng pinagbigyan ko hehehe

Nag lagay ka ba ng scratch remover at polish muna ? Kung oo, properly washed at tanggal na ang mga grimes (pag pinasadahan mo ng kamay ung hood hindi magaspang). Kung nag lagay ka ng scratch remover at polish paano ka nag apply? Mas maganda kung DA polisher ang pag apply ng products. Ganyan din sa kin may minor scratches nawala naman via scratch remover

IPA - isopropyl alcohol (diluted with water)
Yung iba gumagamit ng carpro eraser or minsan APC personally i just wash the car after polishing or apply QD to make sure there is no left over residue.

weird lang talaga yung hood part lang ang ganun. may mas deep pa na scratch dito sa door panel pero simula nung mag polish eh totally wala na.
btw makinis na makinis bro smuiv nung polished na sya
for now ulitin ko steps sa hood lang muna, then do the IPA thingy just to be sure hehehe

Just want to share my completed detailing regime. Happy turned out quite well and worth it lahat ng pagod. Protected na sa summer heat ang paint. Maintain nalang with QD and wax.

Ninja, you should do the IPA method more often. In fact, I recommend doing it between re-wax sessions to remove old wax reside. Not only is it easily available (7/11 would have it or maybe even your car's glovebox) but it is also "affordable" -- you just need rubbing alcohol and water.
