And maybe obvious din when shed by sunlight. I've seen black cars with worse swirls than mine.

Medyo natatakot lang ako kasi my ride just turned 1 yr old this july tapos compound agad. -.-
I understand your dilemma sir, but if you can post pics, It will be easier to visualize. Usually swirls are really not visible from afar, they only show when you put a strong light on it, if this is the case baka light swirls lang. There's a rule in paint correction to use the least aggressive first, if you have both products already, you can try first ultimate polish in a test area then evaluate if your satisfied with results. Then compare this using ultimate compound beside the first test area. Now evaluate which gives you better results.
But i assure you, if your doing this by hand, you will have a hard time decreasing your paint thickness, unless gagamit ka ng liha.
And dont also expect to get rid of all swirls even with ultimate cmpnd by hand, may matitira dyan na mlalalim. Take your time and rest between panels, if you cant finish within the day, wag mo pilitin bro, your arm will not be as effective towards the later areas.
Good luck! And enjoy! Sarap nyan pagkatapos, mas lalo na at black.

Btw that wax i think doesnt have fillers for the swirl marks
Thanks. Since you mentioned it, parang wala ngang filler. I wonder why.. :\

Duly noted bro, thanks. I might end up wasting the product if I do it by hand nga. Pagod ka na, di mo pa makuha yung gusto mong results. Oks lang sana if medyo cheap ang megs UC at UP but it's the other way around.

Try ko nalang magpost ng pics after magpacarwash. May mga light linear scratches din since I wash my car in a linear back and fort motion. I assume dun galing yun hehe. Pleasd help me assess yung paint condition.

another thing you can do para less pagod at ma-attain yung gusto mong result, kung may malapit din lang na "reputable" detailing shop sa place mo ay ipa detail mo na lang then ikaw na lang mag-maintain ng regular wash saka apply ng QD at wax in between. it may be a bit costly pero in the long run baka makatipid ka pa kesa bibili ng compounds/polishes saka di ka pa masyadong pagod yan din sana ang gagawin ko kung may malapit lang na detailing shop sa probins kaso wala ako makita eh, kaya ako na nag-aral magdetail mismo. btw, pareho tayo ng kulay ng sasakyan, black is beautiful talaga kapag bagong polish pero mahirap i maintain...

Iba talaga ang black, pag napganda, sobrang ganda. Pero one of the most difficult color to detail, mas lalo na black ng honda. Kahit punas ng soft mf cloth with qd, may cause a bit of marring the paint. Hirap din imaintain, pero fullfilling if makita mo yung ibang black na full of paint defects tapos sayo konti lang.

tama ka diyan sir kitoy. mahirap i maintain ang black lalo maselan ka pero maganda naman kapag bagong linis. there were times na tinatanong ako ng mga kakilala ko with the same color ng unit na bakit iba daw iba pagkakintab at pagkaitim nauna pa nailabas yun akin at considering daily drive pa ni misis, pero dull looking na yung paint ng sasakyan nila. sabi ko nman sa pag-maintain lang yan lol! yun na lang fulfillment ng pagod at gastos
