After I get a carwash, I wax my car.

So roughly, that's around once a month.

dati twice a month kasi cleaner wax lang gamit ko. after ng carwash tanggal na kagad yung wax eh. then nag collinite 476 ako naging once a month. nakita ko kaya pa pigain yung tibay ng collinite kaya naging once in 1 and 1 half month. ngayon ilang months ko na hindi na wawax kasi nag pa repaint ako ng fender. tinatamad na rin ako. haha.

i detail and wax my rides (vios/montero/super grandia) once every 2 mos.

waxes that i am currently using are collinite 915, pinnacle souveran paste wax, bilt hamber finis wax (for the gray vios) and ocw. i have a blackfire midnight sun yet opened. i have also nanoglos and nanosliq but seldom used it.

i usually do wash-clay-kaio-ksg-wax regimen. if i want to get rid of swirls and minor scratches, i do wash-clay-kaio-pinnacle adv swirl remover-pinnacle adv polish-ksg-wax. i always put sealant or glaze (ksg) as i believed i get more protection to my paint if sealant is used before any LSP's. i rarely get watermarks with ksg under the wax. of course you need curing time for your sealant before applying the wax...

Nice waxes - I have all of them as well, and they're all top of the class. One suggestion though, with the "wash-clay-kaio-pinnacle adv swirl remover-pinnacle adv polish-ksg-wax" routine - I would instead do "wash-clay-pinnacle adv swirl remover-pinnacle adv polish-kaio-ksg-wax". Logic here is that KAIO will not really remove anything that your polishes will not (and hence is redundant prior to polishing), but it will remove any residue left behind by the polishes, as well as serve as a good base for KSG (the two products act synergistically), increasing the durability of your sealant layer.

sir umi/rna/other masters in the know, seeking your advice on what best to do, here's the situation:

had one panel repainted with the color and type of paint as OEM. however, now on its 6th month, it seems that this repainted panel looks dull compared with the other panels with the original paint. ofcourse the repainted panel does not have that oem orange peel effect/finish. it seems that the panel repainted lacks the luster and "tingkad" of the paint color. yes makintab sya pero compared with the rest of the car, kulang sa tinkad yung kulay nya. dark color pa naman paint ng car ko.

is the problem with the top coat of the repainted panel? do i need to polish or rub down this panel's top coat so this will be at par with the rest/orig paint? i've polished this panel with paint cleaner/step 1 of Mothers, then polished it with nano sil, both using an orbital machine, then hand applied step 2 mothers polish/seal, then top it off with collinite 915. sure shiny as it can be but still pales in color sa rest of the car.

kulang ba sa polishing ingredients yung step 1 and nanosil? do i need to apply the polishing compound or rubbing compound to make it as dark as the rest? will the 3M polishing compound sold in sachets do the job to get my desired result?

    thanks.

as you stated, the problem is the paint and not the polishing or wax.

TW Hard Shell Wax. It contains light abrasives AFAIK. If you want real protection, prepare at least 1k+ for a good and durable wax. A wax that lasts at least 3 months in the US can only last 1 to 2 weeks in our dirty climate.

After carwash, feather duster then apply nanoglos ako.. then manual buff to remove and shine.. Anu benefit ng using 50-50 water-nanosliq to remove wax? pakiramdam ko kc naaalis ng nanosliq yung shine..

thanks for the good suggestion sir umi. i was also contemplating before which one i use first, the cleaner or the polish. i really did not realized about the synergy of the klasse twins. in any case, the result of my routines are good, swirls and scratches are minimized and paint conditions are excellent, well protected too. btw, i use the clay, swirl remover/polish only when i see that swirls and scratches are visible again, if not im more than happy with wash-klasse twins and wax.
