Guys what do you think sa car ko na super rarely lang nagagamit like twice a week lang and during night time pa minsan. Does it still need a weekly or monthly wax? May bubong naman yung parking area niya. Yun nga lang, nadadapuan ng alikabok after 2 days sa parking area niya.

here are my opinions and experiences on the waxes I use...

*raine: OCW is Optimum Car Wax... you can buy it from sir ed, or from the official distributor (forgot his handle, taga HCP ata sya), and malapit na raw ilabas sa true value ang OCW

*Cathy_for_you: keep it up ma'am cathy! post ka na ng pics ng ride mo
The official distributor is Ravi - here's the thread he made, with his contact info. If you're close to the north, easier to buy from sir ed; if from the south, easier from ravi.

Is this the Turtle Wax Ice, Turtle Wax Platinum Ultra Gloss, or the original Hard Shell? If it's the Hard Shell, be careful - it contains abrasives that will diminish your clear coat. Also, as much as possible you should use a car shampoo when washing - you want the surface lubricated to prevent dust and other particles from scratching the car - something that just water won't do (in the same way you don't take a bath using just water...).

Given that the car doesn't get used too much and is in a covered parking lot, monthly waxing should suffice. For the dust, buy a Microtex car duster, use it everyday or as needed to prevent the buildup of any dust.

talgang habol ko nung conveniece in buying these stuff kase aminado akong tamad talaga maglinis...

I'm choosing between Mother's and Formula 1 products for now... Salamat sa mga nag suggest.
I'd actually go with Microtex NanoGloss and NanoSliq - durability is at par with Mothers California Gold (I have no idea about the Formula 1 products), but far less expensive. If you want more durability (and therefore less frequent waxing) get 476, apply it after the NanoGloss - as doc has said, a pain to apply and remove, but one of the most durable waxes you can buy - and it'll still cost less than the Mothers combo. In fact, I think you can get the gloss, sliq and 476 for at or close to the price of the Mothers products.
