Guys, eto yung pic using the manual pressure sprayer.
Yung car shampoo ko is Mother's California Gold.
Di ko masyadong napafoam kasi onting shampoo lang nilagay ko(tipid kasi paubos na, hehehe)

Just got home from the mini-EB. Sakit sa likod hahaha. Thanks master ed for teaching us rotary polishing.Na-praktis ulit ako humawak ng makina hehehe.
mga idols..
makatanong ulit sa inyo...yung car ko kasi 2 weeks na nababad sa araw at ulan...open parking...ano po nangyayari sa wax natin pag ganito?
Yes, salamat kay Master for the rotary lesson; bukas hataw detailing na ako with my PC!!!
Sinubukan ko na yung hand-pumped water sprayer using Microtex Shampoo; hindi siya malakas mag-foam, parang ganun din sa pics. I don't know if I should use a special foam shampoo, OR, napansin ko kasi mas malakas mag foam kapag pa-ubos na. I'm thinking it's because there is a mixture of air with the shampoo. May susubukan ako bukas, and will let you guys know if it foams better.
Also, paano kayo mag linis ng ng pads ninyo? I'm sure na sagot na yan dito somewhere, pero grabe sa dami ng thread, eh, hehe :D Using locally available products lang sana :P
parang pwede na. i'll buy one next sale. i don't know if it's this or the aceH model that has another hole for pressure release.
1:6 microtex shampoo and water on a foam cannon at max gives 5mm/sec max. runoff on a vertical surface. it does foam/paint it white though. the runoff slows down to a halt and lastly it looks like the above pic.
Its the Ace sprayer bottle that has a hole for pressure release, it actually becomes a PITA once you fill it up to that point it touches the pressure release hole or once you tilt the sprayer and it touches the pressure release hole since it will leak out the contents
Wow you also took the plunge for a foam cannon, what pressure washer are you using with your foam cannon? and what fitting did you use? any needed modification?
I had to order another foam cannon since our first one sort of broke down, i guess i was using the wrong pressure washer for the job, we fitted the foam cannon with a 1/4 thread adapter to be able to connect to standard belt type pressure washer and after using it with my BF's pressure washer and working quite well we connected it to my pressure washer not knowing mine was a lot stronger, upon using we heard a plastic sound that cracked and took the cannon apart but upon closer inspection everything seems fine, we followed the cleaning guide and disassembly guide by someone from Detailworld and didn't find anything wrong but since then its no longer working properly, we took every effort to consider that even my belt type pressure washer would not produce that much PSI but failed to consider the GPM count so i guess its a mistake well learned, we're thinking of getting another foam cannon but also thinking of getting a pressure washer for myself something maybe just for the foam cannon or something portable, been looking at karcher and other US brands but im concerned about the 110v requirement and is more inclined towards buying something here for warranty purposes as well, any suggestions?
BTW, with our first foam cannon we used Megs Hyperwash and DG shampoo to get really thick foam

And after watching a video of it, application is a PITA vs the foam cannon.
Wow you also took the plunge for a foam cannon, what pressure washer are you using with your foam cannon? and what fitting did you use? any needed modification?i got two. maybe i'll sell the other one later. at 5T? i left the bottles for a smaller package. i use the portable bnd. 1400W
i got kew/alto fittings but the thread is for a screw type lance which is a pain because it is 1/2" with bigger threads vs. the standard 1/2" NPT. i had to thin the tapered end of bayonet according to the bnd bayonet by 1mm diameter and tap the inside of the other end with 1/4" NPT so i can screw in a 1/4" nipple plus Teflon tape.
the ordinary spray bottles and 1.5L softdrink bottles fit. the hose for the bottle is a thick transparent one. this one you cannot change at whim because the grooved connector cuts and hooks into the rubber. the hose curves inside a shorter bottle so no issue there.
the foam cannon has a very high pressure rating around 150 bar ~ 2000+ psi so i don't think it's the cannon, but i would guess a foreign part came into the all-brass body internals. can all the passages be checked? what about having it warrantied? what's the link to the dismantling procedure?I had to order another foam cannon since our first one sort of broke down..

i want a clingy foam. tornador can make mousse.BTW, with our first foam cannon we used Megs Hyperwash and DG shampoo to get really thick foam
excuse moi, i'll get back to this and to you guys later, social duties acalling..
Hmmm is the process of retrofitting the kew/alto fitting to adapt BnD pressure washer hard? or can it be done with some patience? can i ask for some help if im going to consider taking the same route as yours?
Im thinking of just getting a BnD PW just for the sake of having it 220volts, my Bf's maid out of curiosity plugged his PC 7424 on a 220volts socket and it burned right down to the bread board, so its far from any hope of being repaired and knowing how some maids can be "so curious" im talking every possible caution now
here the link to dismantling and servicing the foam lance if ever something gets stuck or something needs to be cleaned like the wire mesh

hope this helps, i know after sometime you might need this read because we sure did, we had to do that procedure twice in the foam cannon's 2 year life span, as for warranty it seems like its more expensive to ship it over to AG and ship it back again rather than just order it again
it's simple enough if you have the tools. i just bore into the plastic fitting itself and threaded (tapped) the inside to fit the 1/4" nipple.
i also thinned the diameter of the bayonet part with the o-ring by 1mm. you can bring it to a machine shop so you won't have to worry about this one-time conversion.
i imagine the same could be done to the bayonet of the soap dispenser of the BnD. but i haven't dared cutting it off as i'm just about to buy my own unit ;)
don't be silly, of course i'll help.
i realized i covered my face subconsciously...my Bf's maid out of curiosity plugged his PC 7424 on a 220volts socket and it burned right down to the bread board, so its far from any hope of being repaired ..
you could bring the kaput PC to an electrician friend cos most of them know how to convert from 110v. at least you can then gauge if it's feasible.
this one omitted the vertical parts. i think there's more intricate workings there than the straight horizontal parts. even so, it's quite helpful.
to avoid residue, bleed it with water after every use. for the PW, run it 5 seconds without the in/out tubes to flush remaining water.
AR is the same as B&D and cheaper.
i think PSI is all there is to it. the pressure washer may not be rated correctly or it spikes over its max rated PSI. To monitor it, somehow fit a pressure gauge at the high pressure outlet.
another concern is foreign objects. a screen at the tap inlet or a filter at the tap or both will help. you see, the inlet of the foam cannon is ~1mm, i can only imagine the internals, but bits of soil, rock, rusted pipe, etc. gunned through high pressure might do some damage or cause a malfunction to this substantial investment.
mga idol,
mga almost 1 year nako nag wash and wax sa car ko. ito lang napansin ko..dumadami yung white spots sa car. palagay ko wax yun pero mahirap tanggalin..ito naba time na mag clay na ako?![]()
