it is enough to thicken your existing clear. We are inclined to add protection to that which we found inconvenient to apply. we want to want a more convenient layer of protection to the previous less convenient layer. a recursive concern.

you can buy from a paint store and there are CCs in can. it takes some knowledge and practice, not to mention proper equipment, to apply so you'll need a practice surface not on your car. only then can you relax about protecting it.

well that's not my case actually. What I have observe and catches more of my attention is the dullness and lack of shine of the spot that I treated with 3M Auto Scratch Remover. Can waxing bring back its shine? or do I really have to use a polish?glaze?
im not saying that it was your case, but you were concerned about clear coat thickness and orange peels are a good indicator that you still have a thick clear coat left, usually when a car has orange peels now matter how small its basically a good sign that your clear coat is still thick and not yet damaged, conversely if a car no longer has orange peels you better stay away from using too much compounds and polishes where scratches removers are somewhat an in between product between the two, you have to use a polish, glaze will only fill them and after a few washes its basically gone

so to sum it short checking for orange peel will really help to determine whether you need clear coat, whether you could still use scratch remover or polish or if its near the base coat already

i have it and used to use it, i replaced it with P21S wheel gel

its actually a good product thats very safe for wheels and even if you leave it behind to dry it won't damage clear coated wheels, Megs Wheel Brightener when used with the wrong ratio and left to dry on the wheels can really do some damage and actually remove the clear coat from the rims, this mothers product is a lot safer but also can't tackle that much contaminants

actually parang natanggal nga yung mga watersports sa trunk saka mga oxidations. yung trunk kasi yung exposed na araw madalas pag naka park since hindi abot ng bubong. hehehe. sa ganon ko na nga lang siguro gamitin.

Any idea of how thick of clear coat was abraded using the scratch remover by hand using light pressure?

    Thanks for all your help.

it all depends on what the color of the paint is, if you could tell me i would recommend waxes for you
i'm actually looking for a better nano wax for my black santa fe. i currently have microtex nano wax to use a filler wax don sa mga fine swirls and scratches. am actually looking for a much better filler nano wax that i can replace the microtex.

    thanks madkatz...

wpk1300k ba yan na rotary? Mura yan kung 3k sa mall last time I checked 5.9k siya. Hindi siya newbie friendly kasi may lurning curve ang pag gamit ng rotary. Much better kung may car ka na pwedeng pag practisan or any surplus panels.

Try to attend sa mga detailing EB dito din ako natutuo on how to use the rotary nung 1st EB and kay master na din ako kumuha ng rotary.

Guys, I'm having a hard time cleaning the roof part of our Innova(hirap talaga abutin) that's why it's the most neglected part of our ride. Ano bang effective way to remove the water spots in that area? Thanks
