After reading tis thread Im going to do my first makeover to my new(used) black car. Here are the steps 1. Shampoo, 2. clay/cleaner wax 3. Polish 4. Wax.

Just confused about step 2. I bought some cleaner wax..do I have to have a waiting period between step 2 and step 4? Is it the same as applying 2 coats of wax in which case I would need 24 hrs in between??

looking at your steps, you can remove the cleaner wax and use it instead as maintenance every month or so..

with that in mind, there's also no need for some waiting period. you dan go ahead and finish that in a day's time (or faster if you know your way around)

Thanks! My car is a 2000 accord btw, looks good just sitting there with smudges and assorted marks, cant wait to see how it looks clean :D

nakaka adik mag detail and nakakapagdo. Meron po bang nabibili locally na Porter Cable 7424 na ROP? Medyo may mga swirl marks na din kasi ung car ko. Eto pala ung pics using mothers step 2 and 3.

pwede naman everyday mag cali duster. Ganun din ginagawa ko tapos spray lang ng zymol QD after. Pero ngayong tag ulan mahirap na gawin yan dapat talaga frequent washing

its been really really busy for me lately. puro maintenance lang. but I do get to browse this thread from time to time. its taken a life of its own so to speak. hehehe

pwede kung sa pwede pero think of it as this way: you can wax everyday, every week, or every month if you want to. detailing depends on your need, schedule, budget and the level of OC you're willing to partake.

plano ko bumili ng B&D kp600, nabasa ko sa ibang threads pwede daw ito i convert para maka gamit ng ibang pads? Ang mahal kasi ng porter cable locally and makita, un KP600 lang swak sa budget. ano po mga pad na pwedeng gamitin para sa kp600?


Kaya din po ba mag tanggal ng light swirls ung kp600 using megs na scratc X?
