mahal pala nung microtx waffle weave! simex is selling what they call "ultimate wipe" for that price. waffle weave din kaya 'to?

ah ok. maganda ba yung polishing (P950) and finishing (P745) pads sa simex? planning to get those pag nakabili na ako ng ROP. baka merong mas mura pero same quality, pls advise naman. pasensya na po, umiiral kasi lagi yung pagkakuripot ko eh hehe. but of course, quality does have a price....baka lang kasi meron namang mas bang for buck na ibang brand.

stubby: if you're planning to get a ROP, better invest in quality foam pads. polishing and finishing pads are better suited for ROP use because of its oscillating action. cutting pads on the other hand are advisable for rotary use. you're likely to haze up the paint if you partner a cutting pad together with a ROP.

if you want, may mas mura.. yung 3M.

dehadista, thanks for the info. i do intend to invest in quality pads for the ROP. around how much and saan binebenta yung 3M polishing and finishing pads? how are these compared to the megs pads at simex? lapit lang ba difference in terms of quality and durability?

well, maganda ang foam pads ng Megs. unfortunately, mahal talaga ang Megs products dito sa Pinas. (umorder ka na lang sa States!)

pantay ang foam nito. however, they do have a problem with durability. the backing of these pads where you attach the velcro backing plate have a tendency to tear off. so take care of these properly. I've probably gone through about 8 of them before I decided to move to LC foam pads. but I still have a few of them (polishing, finishing and cutting) lying around. I use them whenever a friend comes up and asks for help in doing their rides or some vehicles inthe warehouse need some detailing work to be done.
