Patopig: Using a rubbing compound with an ROP is a very bad idea. You would risk thinning out your clear coat in a hurry.

The Blue Bonnet is too thin and rough for me...

    3) I'm a little concerned of the bonnet laces (the one that needs tying) as I think they swing out when the ROP is running ang can marr paint.
Yup, thats the problem, thats why I don't use it, it literally flies off. plus I attached vecro strips on the rubber backing plate.

    1) Wax application with the foam bonnet and removal with the buffing bonnet (I'm not 100% sure this is for buffing or for polishing but this is the woolier one. ILD: need help in identifying!) was very easy. I'm excited on using it on my car tomorrow! Shine and gloss were really better than hand.
The blue one should be for wax application, the fluffy white one should be for wax removal.
    - I tried looking around ACE and TV and I could not find the 3m waffles. Could you guys point me to where I could buy these.
Mmm... wala ba sa TV Shangrila? If you can't find it in TV, then you might have to go to simex, I don't know if they have 6" pads, dehadista available ba? Try looking for 3M velcro strips, you'll need it when you get the pads.
