If you can't get in touch with a megs foam pad, there are turtle wax foams available at concorde.

kuya, usually mga 5-10 minutes sa kin. other entusiasts leave the wax on overnight(like nxt). but then again, when the wax hazes(after a few minutes) pede mo na ibuff. If only we were blessed with enclosed car garages to leave the dust out pede natin gawin to hehehe

I would recommend using a linear motion (straight up and down), just in case you marr the surface it won't be as obvious as opposed to a circular motion.

We have an enclosed garage, but I tell you dust still comes in... so before applying any wax, QD the surface first.

Curing should be around 24hrs more or less. And no you don't need to wash the car again provided that you didn't use it or it doesn't have baked in dirt. Just dust it with a cali duster or QD the surface first before applying another coat of wax. One more thing you should apply a pure wax when doin multiple coats, don't use cleaner waxes sayang lang pagod.

Yes it is possible depending on what product your using. Stick to cleaner waxes and non abrasive stuff and you'll be ok. And don't use pranela, gasgas sigurado car mo.

is it possible to ruin the car's finish pag nagkamali sa pag detail or whatever? is there such thing?
    a big resounding YES.

maraming instances na... seen buffer burns, went through the clear right up to the body filler. meron pa hindi natanggal ang polish sa paint and left it with a haze that had to be polished with a stronger abrasive. andami...
factors include nagmamadali, hindi masyadong marunong sa Rotary...

    cardo,
do you know how much yung mga TW wax foam costs?

    ild,
i'll be using a linear motion (up and down/left and right) just to be on the safe side..hehe

I think the megs pads go for like a thousand for 3(or 4) I think.
di naman ganon kamahal. Got mine for around 60 each in Hans Shang. Teka are we on the same page? Are you talking about the small foam pads or the pads for the rotary?
