ako pedeng sit in student? irreg student? hehehe

the thing is i had nothing better to do last week so instead of sitting in the office i went outside and used some products scattered around. hehehe natuwa ako to see the car "semi" shiny. semi lang mali ata ginawa ko. anyhoo, question, is it possible to ruin the car's finish pag nagkamali sa pag detail or whatever? is there such thing?

now we have this Zymol in the office it says "detail"...hmm ano yun?

u guys were right this is fun! (kapagod nga lang) anyway, experiment ko na sa auto ko before having it re-painted. hehehe para kung magkamali at magkaiba iba ng shade okay lang. Lolz.

as ILD said, ok for wax application

IMO, try to get something with variable speed so you can also do polishing with mild abrasives and work on surface defects.. DeWalt, Bosch and Porter Cable come to mind...

patopig: black kasi kaya clear yung reflection-pic.. hehehe thanks for the compliment.
when doing the 6 yr. old car, you might have to polish that out too in order to get the most out of that paint. also, clay mo na kagad after washing to remove surface contaminants.

yup. see if there are any improvements. if the results are not to your satisfaction,
    a) you might need a machine to step up on the work (kakapagod kasi pag hand) hehe
    b) cleaner wax isn't enough. (meaning you have to step up on the product)

with regards to motion and marring-wise, may factor din kasi on what kind of applicator you're using.. foam applicators, MF's... try wrapping a MF around a good peice of foam and work with that.

BTW, sayang sana may clay.. removes a lot of those contaminants talaga.

tsinita: I'll be watching Star Wars tom.. hehehe

    dehadista,
is the foam applicator that comes with the EO cleaner wax any good? i would be using that. hirap maghanap ng murang foam applicators eh..what i see and bought (a value pack of 3) is sponge-like block.

OT: i changed my avatar nga eh..in lieu of star wars episode 3...hehehe did you guys watch the star wars clone wars kanina on the cartoon network? volume 1 and volume 2 ang pinalabas nila eh..sayang di ko naumpisahan..

zechs: tried it before, but that was during the time I wasn't using the applicator pads from Megs..
try this, if the foam feels rough against your hand, chances are, it's gonna introduce marring to your finish. cleaner waxes are chemical cleaners so it shoudn't be abrasive. it should remove minor oxidation and the like.

when in doubt, wrap some MF around it just to make sure.

    ey guys,
question about applying multiple coats of wax, what's the minimum curing time between each application? and how do you get rid of the dirt between each application, do i need to wash the car again?
