I was supposed to put another coat of 476 tomorrow pero inulan .

Need advice. Bale surely napakadumi na naman ng car ngayong gabi (btw wala pa dad ko so I haven't seen it yet). So wash ako bukas using Microtex shampoo. TIA guys.

Onga sir eh. Last clay ko was around November pa. Then kahapon lang ulit. Ok na siguro ONR clay lube diluted ngayon pagdating ng dad ko tapos dilute na lang ako ONR ulit for cleaning QD, use it after washing, and then apply 476.

    Ok na siguro yun?

    Sorry OT also

Tell me about it, my BF only had one minor vehicular accident on his car and thats when a taxi backed up on his front bumper and nudge gear/bull bar, it was minor that it needed only paint touch ups for it and a replacement from the insurance for the cracked plastic part of the shark nudge gear, and then when he complains to toyota about his ABS lighting problem ( see its a big deal for him because he already slipped on a wet road and hit a truck dead on ) again when he bring his car back to toyota for the ABS problem they put the blame on the vehicular acccident which pissed me off because even before we had that accident the ABS lights are already showing and when we brought it to the service advisor he would just tell us that its not a big problem since the brakes are still working, i mean what the heck is that? anyways sorry SG just gotta let loose some steam.

More depth is just what the word means, more 3 dimensional look, its like if you've ever seen a black paint and you feel that its really dark and deep, its like when you look at a car and you feel that theres still a void and space behind the clear coat, its like you can reach in and grab something, its kinda hard to explain but basically depth is depth, its when you look into a paint and you don't feel like you're looking at a flat surface, you feel like you're looking further.

Reflective Shine is the mirror effect, to be honest its quite easy to make a lot of shots that look reflective, you just have to shoot at a larger angle from the paint, but the really nice reflective shots and shine are those that when you step closer and it still looks like a mirror.

Haha. Swerte nya ma'am wala akong TW Rubbing Compound.

    BTT:
For the EK, it's just that nakakawalang-gana na kasi minsan. Parang lahat sira. Problem is ayaw ipaayos kasi yung mga maliliit na sira, like squeaking, side mirrors, PAINT!

Hmmm well, i'll ask my BF to give you some Zwax, its what aikka uses for their show cars, its a breathable wax thats safe for newly painted cars.

Ohh ok sorry for that, i though it was just for small paint chips and small deep scratches, as for ruining the paint with 600 and 300, even a 1500 grit can ruin the paint especially if you don't use a sanding pad most especially if its not prepped properly like its not soaked for a few hours, and basically im just cautioning people to probably start with the least aggressive and if the results aren't showing then move to a more aggressive sand paper.

it would but 476 goes in first, general rule of thumb with waxes is that the most durable goes in first, except for aesthetic waxes likes Nano Glos, EO and NXT

The blur spots is what we call compounding scratches and micro marring, i would recommend using Mothers Scratch Remover or ScratchX for that, Step 2 will only fill the scratches but not permanently remove them.

Hmm that depends on the paint used, for Quick Dry and fast curing paint with additives for that function 1 hour can already do, most of the quick dry paints recommended dry time is 2 hours, some paint can last up to 8 hours, but these are only drying times, these aren't cure times, dry times is just the point where you can already run your car in the rain and still look great, but as with all new paint its best to stick with the 1 to 2 months curing period where in the duration you don't wax your car or use any shampoo that leaves behind any silicon, wax, gloss enhancer and other chemicals

Sorry I forgot to answer your question about the ONR.

Hmm, it's actually a great clay lube, and a great cleaner! Ginamit ko siya sa EK kanina before going to school and it looks like I just washed it! Take note clay lube diluted yung ginamit ko ah, di pa yung dilution ng QD talaga. Another good thing about it is it's versatile. Waterless wash, rinseless wash, cleaner QD, and a clay lube. Hehe. Ipon pa uli ako para dyan haha.

BTW, can I use it if the car is wet? Lakas ng ulan ngayong gabi and for sure hugas na naman ako bukas sa Vios. Dammit
Yes you can use it for the wet car but i still recommend you use the cleaning QD dilution ratio, thats a better cleaner, haha why earn for more ONR? o.O we already gave you enough sample to last you a long time hehe

Hmm im sure 476 is still there, yup use the ONR cleaning QD and use a fresh batch of towels, claying would just remove the existing layer of 476, im quite sure the 476 is still there because my innova's current coating is 2x Chemical Guys M-seal and 2 coats 915 and its been months already and its still beading quite nice right now its like its just freshly waxed, then again i only use it one to two times a week hehe

Hehe yup yup, the basic recommendation for claying is twice a year, OR whenever you remove all the existing protection you have and start from zero and you want all that you're putting back up on the paint like how many layers of glazes sealants and waxes to really stick to the paint, so im recommending you just clay everytime you're planning on applying a sealant.

    Thanks po! Noted.

BTW, kararating lang ni dad. The Vios looks filthy. Namuti yung gulong sa sobrang dumi. I can only imagine how dirty it is bukas pag naarawan na.

Sa sobrang inis di ko na na hose down before spraying with ONR, tutal wala naman nang tubig sa gripo ng ganitong oras dito samin. I'll take a pic of the yellow MF turned black. Grabeng dumi.

Step 2 is a very mild polish, its so fine its not enough to permanently remove those with one pass
