Lanchong: I agree with both SG and Jmpet626, in the case of Mothers Step 3 Paste wax, it is better in terms of shine and durability, the style in applying Step 3 paste wax would be to apply it really thin and sort of let the sponge slide on the paint, don't apply too much pressure, just use like 2 or 3 fingers, if you apply it thin enough it will make things a little more troublesome for you during applying but with the paste version it will make removal a lot easier, Step 3 Liquid is not really far down in terms of comparison with the paste wax, its just a slight notch down, and the Liquid form is a lot easier to apply, but the bad thing with the liquid is that if you apply too much it tends to gum up the MF cloth, which sometimes could be a PITA to remove. Another advantage of paste is that it doesn't powder as much as the liquid, and yes in my case the paste version once applied really thin can cover more cars than the liquid by at least 50% more, sometimes even 100% more than a bottle of liquid.
