*water: hmm based on the harsh climate we have here the best way to protect the paint of the car would be to wax regularly, now it doesn't matter that much what wax you use either from TW hard shell up to the better ones, all waxes can still give protection. Now if its a question regarding sealants and waxes i don't have any recommendations or preference over both personnally, my recommendations would depend whether you could wax regularly ( every 2 weeks or every month? ) or seldomly ( twice a year? ) In most cases sealants outlast waxes in providing protection, but waxes give better protection against the elements. So if you could wax regularly i would recommend you use wax, now if you can't commit regularly i would recommend sealant, but if its me i would recommend you apply both, this way you get the protection of the waxes and on the occasion that the wax protection is gone, you still have the sealant as a back up secondary protection and this is what i do on my cars. Now if you're gonna ask me which ones are more durable for waxes it would be collinite 476, dupont carnauba wax and FK hi temp wax and klasse SG, optimum opti seal and megs 21 for sealants

hope this helps

*jon: haha i think you still have more LSP's compared to me and you definitely know more than i do
