    Well the kp600 doesn't vary that much in terms of price compared to the wp1300 and you get real correction from wp1300, so for me it all boils down to the following questions

    Can you alot enough time to learn how to use rotary and have the patience of using a rotary?

    If yes and then go for the wp1300, if not stick with kp600, then again kp600 is only ideal for spreading liquid products.

    What are your goals in buying a polisher?

    If its just to save time waxing then its kp600, if its to correct and paint and make it look great then its wp1300

    How far are you willing to go after buying a polisher?

    kp600 requires less add ons to work well, the wp1300 needs more items like backing plate, pads and polishes and compounds, pad spurs

    so basically for those that just want to make their vehicle look nice without improving paint then kp600 is ok, but for those with defects and can't stand not to remove them like me hehehe then i would suggest wp1300, of course the Makita is way way much more expensive but for me my Makita was well worth every buck because i really bust my arms with the wp1300 since its a lot heavier, try polishing for 3 to 4 hours and you would notice the difference

    Since I have nanoGLOS, nanoSLIQ, Collinite 476s, which sequence is better (of course after washing) in your opinion?
    1. NanoGLOS -> nanoSLIQ -> collinite 476s
    2. nanoGLOS -> collinite 476s -> nanoSLIQ (for maintenance)
    3. nanoSLIQ -> collinites 476S (since first two might be overkill)
    4. collinite 476S -> nanoSLIQ (same reason as #3)
    Nano Sliq's cleaning properties only go as far as removing light dusts, bird droppings and tree saps that are not yet baked on, its also enough to remove some types of adhesives and sticky road films but thats just about it but it can't be used as a pre wax cleaner and yes very big chance it would affect the 476 so i would recommend you go with sequence number 2, Nano Glos for beauty and looks, collinite 476 and Nano Sliq as maintenance

    Oh for that you need a really good all purpose cleaner, Megs sells some that are great, be sure to vacuum it first and then apply the APC and wipe it on a linear motion always towards one direction with a very soft foam sponge, this would great lessen it being frizzy during the cleaning process and then don't wipe it dry with a rough towel, use a soft cotton or MF towel and again wipe it in a linear motion always towards one direction only

    do u have buffer pads (available for the customized kp600) that i can use after applying wax (either 476s or nanoglos) by hand?

    * psi: sir galing talaga ng OGE! pati nanosliq galing sa beading! panalo!

    * silverrain: OGE is Optimum Gloss Enhancer. this is a QD like the microtex nanosliq and mothers showtime. nanosliq has the best beading effect though.

    *madkatz, thanks so much. Went to glorietta yesterday, grabe price ng 9227 sa truvalue, ~Php18500! Maybe because they offer 3mos 0% interest. I'm leaning towards buying 7424xp or 9227c. Will do some research first. For the meantime, tyaga muna ako sa manual wax removal.

    *azzkkr2600, i'll will inform you guys re price sa sta cruz re polishers. Anyway, meron na pala Microtex Products sa ACE Hardware Makati in sachet form. Inform me na lang kung kelan tayo punta kay sir Edwin for shopping spree! Mamamakyaw na naman si psi nyan. hehehe. Need ko ONR!

    is it on the paint? if its on the paint you could try removing it with kerosene or lighter fluid but don't let it sit too long just pour some on the area, let it sit a little and remove with a cotton ball, and the follow it up with some polish to make it look nice again and wax to protect the shine, if you're using kerosene its a lot safer, the lighter fluid is a lot more effective but be sure to remove it within like 10 seconds.

    for starters i would really recommend the porter cable 7424 xp, that way you will gradually know the limits of paint correction and how to visually see at a much slower rate how paint corrects and polishes cut.

    Thanks for the replies. I'm a bit apprehensive about mixing brands and experimenting but this coming from experienced detailers gives me the confidence to go ahead.

    +1 sa kp600 kung pang apply lang ng glazes pre wax cleaners, glazes, wax at sealants ok ang modded kp600. Kahit may portercable na ko gamit ko pa din kp600 ko. Overkill para sakin kung gagamit ng rotary kung mag aaply lng ng waxes at sealants.
