I had 2 cars done by BB-Ortigas last Saturday. One is a week old Mazda3, the other is a 6-year old Honda City.

Great job for both. It was a long wait since I came in rather "late" at 9:30 for the first car, and it was finished by 2. (Optiguard, new car) The other was just wax and seal, came in at 11:00, finished by 3PM

The works were meticulously done. Willy takes time despite being busy to explain what has been done.

The only negative: both cars' windshields were not properly wiped as I noticed smudges inside the windshield (parang pawis eh) while driving out, but I was too lazy to drive back. Me, being OC. [Suggestion lang po, punas muna sana ng pawis bago pumasok sa auto ]

    Overall, pricey but first-class work!

yan din ang nasa isip ko sir, kaso di din ako sure. and masydo siyang expensive for mother's step 1, 2 and 3 kung yun nga po yun.

i think, ang counterpart or the same ng "mother's step 1,2 and 3" ay yung "wash and double wax" service nila

I had my 2010 Black Honda City car paint protect this 1st week of August. The initial result was great.. very shiny and clean. No complaints and i was very happy and satisfied.

However, it seems that the paint protect sealant is prone to water marks. I'm pretty sure that before i had my car avail the paint protect, it has no water marks or not very noticeable... im very meticulous esp. in the hood area. I was confident that the paint protect will repel those pesky water marks, but apparently not.

Before i was using SwirlX to remove the water marks. Followed by Mothers step2 and 3 for prevention and it was water mark free. Since the SwirlX and Step 2 will just rip-off the paint protect sealant, i opted not to use it anymore. So i was just doing the wash and wax (step 3) routine after the 1st week that the sealant was applied. Then rainy days had came and i was confident that i shouldnt worry about those water marks coz i had my car paint protect. When i decided to wash my car, to my surprise there were water marks everywhere, esp. on the hood, roof and trunk. My car is black, hence it is very noticeable.

Since i can't resist having water marks on my hood, i decided to apply the SwirlX, step2 and step3 and its water mark free again. Nevertheless, there are still stubborn water marks on the trunk and roof area.

So, how do i remove those water marks without sacrificing the car paint protect sealant?

Tsikot guys - For those who availed the paint protect, do you have the same issue? How did you resolved it?

    Thanks,
    Aidrian

You'll need a polish (with abrasives) to remove those watermarks thus, it is not possible to get rid of them without also removing the sealant.

There's no way to literally repel watermarks unless punasan/wash agad ASAP. Talagang it'll eat through the wax/sealant or worse, the clearcoat kapag pinabayaan.

Waxes and Sealants IMO can only do so much to protect your paint. I personally haven't tried putting a sealant on our car pero take my case, I use Collinite 476S, a very durable wax. Kapag naulanan at naarawan yung kotse, meron watermarks pero since I have a wax, konting punas lang with a QD tanggal na (take note na ginagawa ko to as soon as I get home) whereas kapag walang wax sure na etch agad yan sa paint. Try nyo sir punasan with a QD baka sakaling makuha pa since naka paint protect naman po kayo.

Kasi kapag tanggal po kayo ng tanggal ng watermarks using a polish you're also removing some of your clearcoat.

    HTH.

    Boss BIgbert

Maayos pa ba tong mark na to?

This was caused by one of those Anti Slip dashboard mats that got affected by the heat
