Be that as it may, it was still tangentially relevant.
Besides who decides what is on-topic and what isn't? one person? I personally thought that while the comment wasn't about the PhUV, it wasn't so far out as to be off-topic.
By that measure, DPROX's nationalistic spiels about not giving his designs to large car companies would be off-topic too. To be honest, I did find his ideas that large car companies would be interested in the CHOK somewhat.. laughable. So, is that gonna get this post deleted? Or is there a double standard regarding what's on-topic and what isn't?
It's very disappointing when people don't like to hear their detractors and just decide to shut out these people.
p.s. I did think the information was relevant. It is relevant when someone asks why you are unable to productize a design you've had lying around for three years. What will make "this" PhUV (the one discussed in this thread) any different?
Mutual admiration societies won't get you anywhere. You NEED to hear the bad news. Everyone self-congratulating each other is not the way to approach a problem.
