can't wait to see this guy's radiators

can't wait to see this guy's radiators

Its sad that you're that one dimensional.
You've been trolling in this thread trying to tell everyone that the status quo is good enough because its the third world. You are wrong in theory and in practice.
That in exchange for information freely given on the dynamics of heat transfer management that will save a lot of people here a lot of money all without any endorsement of any product/brand/or service.
I mean geeze, if I started talking about cold plates or two-stage phase change heat transfer modules, actively modulated peristaltic pumps, you'd expect me to sell it to people I'm talking to? Are you really that simplistic?
I've received PM's asking me if I have a shop that will service their radiators. They've been politely told that I don't.
Somehow its grossly unfair that it is my burden to explain my motivations for sharing experience and technical information that I am suddenly accountable to the only person who professes a hollow empathy for the 3rd world simply because he can highlight problems and cite observations.
It is remarkable that the quality of the content you generate has lent you that measure of tolerance from the admins of this forum.
People like you are a cancer to our society. Malignant and useless.

coz you really don't service radiators
you make em or are planning to make em
here you are doing a little market study.... asking how much people are willing to pay for a replacement radiator
http://tsikot.com/forums/aircon-temp...you-pay-90932/
on page 2 there's a hint on what you're planning to make --- a radiator that performs 3 times better
then there's this threadQuote Originally Posted by dumschmuck View Post

What if you can get a radiator that drops in and gives up up to 3x the performance?
so either you're totally obsessed with radiators or you're in the business

so i'm curious what your better-than-any-radiator-out-there radiator is gonna be like

No you're not. Your intentions from the start are to diminish the merits of this discussion because you assume that commercial interests override it. Scratch that, you habitually destroy otherwise salient conversations because you get off it and the admins tolerate it.
Don't make this out as if its some noble cause, your character doesn't fit it.
I've already mentioned it earlier, johnny come lately, that I'm in the the thermal management industry. That is NOT just radiators, its not just fluids, and its not just good technical practice.
Those threads aren't hidden and were freely and openly discussed. Price sensitivity and decision paralysis are very important factors in determining solutions. Unlike you, I prefer to solve problems not rant about the obvious and prey on people's fears.
Talo mo pa yung mga Tulfo.
But really what does that have to do with clarifying matters for people?
Oh wait, I talk about proper coolant usage without endorsing a particular brand while demystifying misconceptions and that's somewhat taken against me?
Oh wait, determining consumer sensitivity in order to make the correct product/action recommendations are suddenly a minus in my credibility? Are you serious?
No good deed goes unpunished it seems.
So are you curious or are you more into trying to make a point? Really stop pretending that you do care about the 3rd world or people as much as fulfilling your ego. You don't. You've done more to denigrate the progress made by Filipinos and have consistently made it a point to do so unfairly in every other post you make.
If you really are that selfish to satisfy your craving for affirmation of self-imposed misery, then by all means start your own thread and inconvenience the people who are willing to engage you there.
I spend time talking about radiators, I must have no intention whatsoever to help people. Yeah I've made so much dosh in the time I've spent posting to people here telling them to use coolants with good quality, but not necessarily, distilled water.
Which means you are intimating that my ethics is questionable and thus the good 10 odd pages of content created before you intruded have no bearing?
There is nothing I can do to comfort your malice and ignorance.
Here's what, if uls continues to talk about his preferred out of topic subjects here, then I'm sure this thread everyoine will just let it die a normal death by ignoring it.
It is amazing that you've managed to destroy a fruitful and beneficial exchange by simply being yourself. Be proud, uls, that's all you really can be right now.

I think uls was just connecting the dots... although TS, you are starting to sound like a salesman or would be sales man trying to get the right timing for a sales pitch.
I admire your passion in sharing your ideas and thoughts on thermodynamics though. Its quite an eye-opener.
I think the thread (and your other threads) are about cooling. How about we cool things a little here? Medyo nagiinit na kayo baka kailangan nyo na din ng coolant.
Don't patronize me and insult me at the same time.
Seriously? Did you actually think for a moment if I wanted to sell anything to anyone here I would have been more upfront about it and just do so? What's stopping me from doing just that?
You get free information that saves you money and trouble to avoid having to make unnecessary purchases and its salesmanship just because uls "was connecting the dots"? Where do you get off?
Kung ganun naman din eh wag na lang tayong mag-usap dahil napakadali naman bahiran ng malisya ang isang bagay at tiyak na magaling si uls sa mga ganyan.
I mean where else will we get industry experts to criticize and advise if all they are interested in this forum is to make money off informing people?
What kind of mindset is this when its the ignorance perpetuated in the status quo that is causing this much harm to people, their livelihoods, and the environment is subject to less criticism than ideas that seek to better them?
You want to connect the dots, try seeing how those come together. Yes it takes more effort to do so and is infinitely more difficult than to tell people that they just want to make a buck off you.

Just to answer your question - yes.
And no, I do not mean to insult anyone.
I'm just in here for the science. Always have been facintaed by it and also a bit obsessed about the science behind subtle things we usually take for granted... Like why did the car designers/engineers did this or that. "Why put the screw here instead of two inches to the left?" that sort of thing.
Science can be very interesting, but pure science can be too cryptic for some people's taste and appreciation..
I ride those buses when i go around the Vismin area before.... and yes, i myself prefer Mountain Dew. Ayaw pa kasi lagyan ng Mountain Dew emoticon. :D
Seems there's always a link to the families there, somewhere along the way.
Hehehe... kelangan buhusan ng coolant yung thread.![]()
at the very least, i learned that not just ordinary tap water + coolant should go in to our radiators.. distilled water is better.
Vinj can get o.c but some guys here take the cake!

more power.
I usually haveit rodded by our on call rad guy. Then refill with the correct amount of manufacturer specified coolant. Apparently, thoughts differ on the practice but I have never had a rodded radiator fail on me since 1996 and we drive some of the vehicles very hard. We do get minor stuff like clamp failures or small pinhole leaks where the rad top attaches to the rad but nothing major or nothing that will render the vehicle inoperable.
Srp for rodding and flushing is 2000 i think. But we pay fleet prices so its nowhere near that.
Vinj also gets his rads rodded at the same place. Hehe.

I'm a man of logic and science and I appreciate what you have posted here evo-v. I certainly will ensure that the fluids I use would minimise corrosion in my radiators.
I am guessing the other guys have had too many negative experiences with regards to other people peddling useless gadgets, fluids and services which is why they have a habit of "connecting the dots" when there really aren't any dots to connect. Don't take it against them though as this is most likely a result of their negative experiences here in the forum. I hope you post more of your experiences here in future.
Good day to all tsikoteers here.
