Reliable Car Aircon Repair Shop

I have a problem with my aircon and a friend of mine told me about Ceejays so i went yesterday to have it looked into. I was told that my thermostat needs to be changed. Im supposed to go there on saturday for the needed job. Another friend of mine told me to seek another shop's opinion and the shop that we went to have different diagnosis that the thermostat is working good but there are parts that needed to be changed. The total charge was twice as much as what ceejays assessment. While I read here that ceejay is really good and reasonable i am still contemplating if i have to seek another shop's opinion or to just go to ceejay's this saturday. I hope you guys can help me decide what to do. Thanks

Bandang Novaliches. May pinagawan ako d2 sa area ko, ang problem ng van ko pag na traffic ako tumataas ang temp. ang buga pero dati hindi naman at pag high rev ay lumalamig ng tama. So pinagawa ko at nakita ung leak, syempre vacuuming and filling freon un para lumamig ulit. Kaso ayaw ng lumamig ng husto. Sabi ko sa kanya pag highway takbo ko o high rev ay lumalamig ng husto, tapos ngaun na correct na ang leakage e ayaw lumamig ng tama. Suspect ako sa brand ng refrigerant nya, may kinalaman ba kaya ang mga brand ng refrigerant na r134a?

Hi sir napa check nyo napo ba compression ng compressor nyo if ever ilan daw po ang reading? And another gumagana po ba lahat auxillary fan sa ilalim? Usually mahinang compressor or baka may di gumaganang fan mga dahilan ( pag tumatakbo lang lumalamig) related po sa brand ng refrigerant 134a so far wala po akong nakikitang issue masyado dun

may prob po kasi ako sa Isuzu trooper bighorn model 99 , 4jg2.

cleaned AC system

nung day 1 malamig sya.. pero the next day po.. hilaw na po lamig nung auto ko. kahit linisin ung condenser.
kelangan ko po bang palitan na din pati condenser? thnks

If you are in Manila, try Kristal Aire in Makati. They were able to troubleshoot my jimny and recommended replacing the compressor.

noong Tuesday, ginamit ko ang auto ko and while driving under the scorching heat one afternoon, biglang tumaas ang temp gauge ko while going to a friend somewhere in Manila. then I keep filling up the water sa radiator. then off we go sa Bambang. while driving going to Bambang, naka-3 fuel station stops ako just to cool down the temperature and fill up more water. I know delikado magdrive with the temp gauge on the maximum (read: overheat) pero I need to drop off my friend back home and me going back home as well. fortunately wala namang masamang nangyari sa kotse ko.

then kanina lang, I went to one of the bus terminal in Buendia-Taft to drop off my brother. bago pa sumapit sa Taft-Quirino intersection, bigla na namang nagoverheat ang kotse after filling up again the radiator with water. but I drove it nonetheless until I reached a fastfood chain beside the bus terminal to park it. when I was about to go, ayaw magstart ng kotse, at pinalamig ko muna siya. since nasa Buendia-Taft area ako, I decided to go to Kristal Aire and drove it up with an overheat car.

pinacheck ko sa kanila yung kotse ko doon. initially, yung estimate para sa remedy ng radiator is 2,000. pero nung umalis na ako sa shop going to LRT (I need to rest because galing ako from a GY shift work), nagtext si Angel (tauhan ng shop) na kailangan nang palitan yung buong radiator assembly which costs 5,000. yung upper part ng radiator ko sabog na at plastic yung upper part nito, according to Angel. after agreeing to our terms, I said na "sige, palitan niyo na siya" at balikan ko na lang sa hapon.

pagkabalik ko ng shop sa hapon, nakita ko yung lumang radiator na mukhang luma na at may lumalabas pang tubig na may kalawang. then I checked the car, and OK na siya. kahit sa paguwi ko sa amin, no signs of overheating.


is the radiator assembly that costs 5000 OK naman or mahal siya?

hindi pa kasama ang labor. and they added the coolant as well. pero nagtawad ako sa kanila (pero minimal lang ang bawas)

Minimal man ang naging discount mo, sigurado naman wala ka na overheat, kasi brand new na radiator mo.

pansin ko kanina on a hot morning (mga around 9:30 am), malamig pa rin ang aircon ng kotse at nasa no. 1 ang fan niya.

my concern na lang sa aircon system ko, yung ting ting sound ng compressor ko on idle. I'll fix on that if I already have the budget again to have it repaired or remedyohan yung problem na yan.

If you guy are familiar with Wintercool aircon in banawe dati, and hinahanap sila kasi gagamitin na pwesto nila dati. Andun sila now sa blumentrit cor. piy margal right side coming from espana. Everbest na name nung shop but same old reliable guys. Small shop lang pero may wifi.
