Problem: Laging nauubos yung coolant sa reservoir tank. No leaks sa hoses, tank, connections. Operating naman yung radiator fan.
So, kahit after 15 mins na naka idle, Aircon ON, night time, tumataas pa rin ung needle ng temperature. then, mauubos yung Coolant.
Do you think water pump yung problem (no circulation ng coolant)?
Pag binuksan ung cap ng radiator, vapor ng coolant ung lumalabas after sometime na pinatay yung engine.

March 30th, 2017 09:24 AM #2problem: what is your car, po?
you are probably over-heating.
1. is your radiator dirty, inside and/or out? are there deposits on the inside, that hinder heat exchange? are your cooling fins covered by dirt and grime on the outside? subukan nyo pong pa-linis ang labas ng radiator nyo. i would recommend engine overhaul, but by your picture, mukhang plastic ang radiator tub ninyo...
2. is your radiator fan electric? if so, perhaps it is not turning as fast as it should. if so, replace it.
3. how's your exhaust? kung medyo puti, that's probably tubig. you may have a gasket leak, causing coolant to be lost thru the combustion chamber.
good luck, po.

March 30th, 2017 10:01 AM #5Start with the simplest solution. Radiator overhaul.
At the same time, ipa-leak test mo yung piston/cylinders mo. Baka may problema sa head gasket.

Avanza 2010 1.5G AT
Yung angle na water pump yung culprit, d ba realistic mga sirs?
Also, would you advise na ibyahe ko sia (from Makati to any talyer or ipahome service na lang)?

The thermostat valve might be stuck or does not open completely when the engine has reached the correct temp.

March 30th, 2017 03:02 PM #9What do you mean "angle ng water pump"? How did you determine that the water pump is the culprit?
Since you said earlier, 15 minutes lang na engine idling eh na-overheat na, mas better pa ipa-home service mo na lang. Rather than having get stuck in a traffic going to your preferred talyer, baka maitirik ka sa daan due to overheat.
Insufficient water/coolant runs in your engine cooling system will result to engine overheating. Kung nagbabawas ng coolant/water ng mabilis sa radiator, it means may leak.
Have you checked or inspected your radiator drain plug lately? Baka maluwag at kailangan lang higpitan.

March 30th, 2017 03:22 PM #10+1 on the thermostat. My guess its stuck
Next is rad cap.
Ask you mechanic to remove the thermostat. If it doesnt overheat anymore, go buy a new thermostat.
That is assuming your fan is working

agree on the Avanza... horrible ride and I also have issues with its seats. Veloz is a better car
