Radiator / Overheating Problem

given proper care, plastic-tubbed radiators can give metal ones a run for their money.
but i wonder, how much does a plastic radiator cost, vis a vis the metal equivalent?

I totally disagree with this as far as heat resistance is concerned

But then again brackish water has a way to weaken metal structure with corrosion

Ill still put my money on a metal cap (corroded or not) rather than a plastic one due to the function of a radiator, absorb and dissipate heat generated by the engine combustion process
