It has happened to me before, after two weeks kailangan ko magtop up palagi.

by the way, dapat ba OEM ang rad cap and hoses na bibilhin? ma-ssubject kasi sa high pressure kaya dapat matibay talaga diba? or puwede na yung replacement parts?

I suggest OEM. Bring sample if able though.

thanks JohnM. I remembered when a hose on my father's sentra had a hole, I had to replace it in a gasoline station and there was no exact fit, the mechanic had to cut an available high pressure hose. so far, still works. the car was even driven to Bicol without overheating.

    JohnM,

Use coolant to prevent rust from forming again ;)

May mahabang thread dito somewhere about replacement radiators regarding metal incompatibility and efficiency. Interesting read to say the least.

I would say 2.8K is just about right. I previously asked for a conversion (plastic top to copper) cost and it was around 2K. 800 for the top and bottom overhaul price is also fair enough.

btw, kelan ba last time na nagpalinis ka ng radiator? never pa?
