February 26th, 2010 06:15 PM #11When's the last time you had your AC cleaned? Na-experience ko din yan dati pero sa ibang car.. High revs and uphills, pero on normal roads, normal siya.. Nawala after I had my AC cleaned, nag hihigh pressure kasi..

gd day to all, sori kung buhayin ko muna yung thread, same problem din kc sa aking accord exi a/t. overheat pag long drive pero pag city or traffic, ok temp. na replace ko na yung rad ng surplus, pati fans, cap, flushed and filled new coolant with distilled water, etc. na check ko na din yung iba and it seems ok naman...
if possible, please explain fully how to determine the symptoms of busted/defective pump as well as thermostat...
likewise, na curious ako sa issue ng A/C as quoted above, bka pwede paki explain na din kung pano sya nakakapagpa overheat sa engine... many thanks in advance... regards

May 3rd, 2010 12:48 AM #15It's possible that your radiator just behind the AC's condenser is clogged, so i suggested to have your AC cleaned.. That way, they will remove the condenser and spray your radiator with high pressure water..

May 28th, 2010 10:56 PM #17Also have the same dilemna for a week now. nung una, at high speed and uphill lang sya tumataas ng temp, abot hangang 3/4 sa gauge
. pero kinabukasan, napansin ko na pati mabagal na takbo tumataas na rin ung temp.
I already had my radiator overhauled, fan motor, thermostat, thermo switch and temperature sending unit replaced pero ganun pa rin. ano kaya possible cause nito? ok naman daw ung head gasket sabi kasi di naman daw naghahalo ung langis at tubig. hay, sakit sa ulo

i installed new thermostat today and guess what, this is my unlucky day...
the symptoms for HG or cylinder head problem became more apparent, bubbles coming out of the radiator and smell of burned gas...
guys, any idea how much i need to prepare?
likewise, any recommended shop preferably in bulacan area with quality work at reasonable price will be highly appreciated... many thnks in advance..
