Hi,
Can you explain the difference between the two, thermostatic expansion valve and cycling orifice tube type?
From what I know, a thermostatic expansion valve works by sensing the temperature after the solenoid valve going to the evaporator. From there, the liquid inside the bulb will expand and push through the needle like opening of the thermostatic expansion valve thereby throttling the refrigerant.
I might have mixed everything or something is not in the proper order or everything is incorrect.
I hope I'm not asking too much.
EDIT: I found this article. However, I don't simply trust online contents so I'm relying more to textbooks. Unfortunately, I don't have my textbook right now. The consequences of always missing my classes...

Tatanggalin engine under cowl cover and maybe even the wheel well cover depende sa pwesto ng aircon. After that baklas yung pressure plate tapos sisikwatin na yung spacer (assuming may spacer ka pa ha). Usually nililinis rin yung clutch surfaces with very fine liha para tanggal dumi at magkaroon ng kapit and then balik lang lahat in reverse order. Wala pa isang oras tapos na yan.
Yung sa akin dati after nabawasan ng isang spacer gumana pa ng maayos for three years.

June 13th, 2018 06:40 PM #237Good day po,
Newbie. BTW , its 2015 Hyundai Accent (Gas).
Additional info, had an accident last year, may bumanggang motor sa harap ko tapos first time ko nagpa aircon servicing 6 months ago.
Thank you po sa sasagot.
