Ask ko lang po. Na vacuum ba ang system noon ginawa ito (palit evaporator, filter, etc.)?
thanks mga papsie.. problem solve.. replaced compressor, 70/290-300(low-high reading) ata..wala na talaga bumigay na.. stock compressor pa yun considering its 98 model 17 years old hahaha, palit compressor nissan parin, super lamig nanaman
Bakit kaya di na detect ang compressor problem noon ng first time ka nag pagawa??
^ hindi kasi basta basta nasisira compressor ng ac kaya ito lagi ang last sa checklist.
Unless may nakita sila sa physical characteristics na my tama na like oil leak or nag iingay na.
Pwede rin naman kasi i overhaul yan palit ng parts sa loob

One simple test to do to check if compressor still good. Pasip-sipin ang compressor sa atmosphere. with discharge side disconnected, takpan ng thumb ang outlet. Kung ayos pa ang compressor mag build up yan ng pressure hanggang di mo na kaya pigilan. You can also do it using pressure gauge.

Pag nagpapakarga ako ng refrigerant, lumalamig sya pero yung lamig tumatagal lang ng ilang buwan (kalahating taon maximum). Pinacheck ko evaporator and nakitang may leak nga sya. Pinapalitan ko na yung evaporator. Napansin ko yung isang gumagawa na parang may tube na nilagay sa may compressor. Hindi binaba yung compressor. Parang may butas lang sa side tapos dun nakasaksak yung tube na may embudo sa dulo. Tinanong ko kung ano yun, sabi niya langis daw. Kasi daw pag tulad nun na may papalitan na part (in this case yung evaporator), dapat daw lagyan ng langis yung compressor (Tama po ba?)
The next day, normal naman yung a/c, malamig dahil bagong karga ng freon. Pero habang nag ddrive, meron biglang tutunog. Yung sound niya parang katunog ng fanbelt o parang pressurized air na lumalabas. Bigla na lang sya tutunog at naririnig ko sya mula sa loob ng sasakyan. Minsan pag nakatigil sa traffic, minsan nasa expressway, biglang tutunog. Yung sound niya lasts for minimun 4 secs to maximum mga 15 secs.
Nitong week na to inobserbahan ko yung sasakyan ko. Napansin ko pag matagal nang naka park yung sasakyan, then gagamitin ko, pag kambyo ko sa primera at pag gumalaw na ako ng konti, tumutunog sya. Ilang beses na nangyari na ganun. Kahit pagkastart ko and mag idle (neutral) ako ng 5 mins, once kinambyo ko to 1st gear and gumalaw na ng bahagya, tutunog nanaman. Sinubukan ko minsan nung na-timingan kong tumunog, pinatay ko yung aircon. Bigla rin naputol yung tunog. So na-conclude ko na BAKA sa compressor galing yung tunog.
Nabasa ko dito sa forums na ang dahilan ay maluwag na aircon belt o bearing sa loob ng compressor. Baka nung nilalagyan ng langis, niluwagan yung belt? Pwede po kaya yun?
Hingi po sana ako ng advice/opinion niyo.

pero hilaw pa din po lamig nung auto ko. kahit linisin ung condenser.

Palitin na po ba ang A/C Compressor kapag minsan nagana umikot at minsan hindi naikot( as in stuck up at di mapaikot ng belt yun compressor at yung belt lang ang naikot)?

perhaps it is not the compressor.. perhaps it is just the clutch. clutches are cheap.
also, it could be compressor bearing.
some years back, my compressor seized. the repairman said it's the bearings, and bearings can't be replaced.
years later, i met this guy from the casa. he said that they actually had bearing repair kits in stock, but few asked for them. it would appear, "they made more money replacing compressors rather than repairing their bearings".
go figure...

Armature of what?? AC compressor is belt driven.

Ouch! Clutch plate ang alam ko na pangalan nyan. First time ko makita ang drawing na armature plate ang label. Ang nasa isip ko "armature ng electric motor"

Isang component na nga lang natitira na dapat palitan, yung ang condenser. Pero kapag naging hilaw pa rin ang lamig. Diko lang sure kung ang solution, ay maglagay dagdag ng "compressor oil" sa a/c compressor. Or check and correct the pressure both in low and high fitting lines, of charged freon in the system.

I just had my brand new a/c compressor installed. Also replaced and installed a new air drier. And had the evaporator cleaned awhile this morning, in an Aircon Shop here in our area. Na-obserbahan ko lang, after ma-vacuum at ma-refill ng freon habang nasa shop. Habang umaandar, nag auto on and off ang a/c, with setting of thermo at 60% and blower fan at #2. Pero when i got home, nakagarahe sa may habong o lilim and setting the thermo at somehere 70% to 100% and placing the fan at #3 and #4. Ang tagal mag cut off ng a/c. Parang di pa ma-reach ng a/c yung thermo setting at ang tagal para mag auto off. Lack of charge freon kaya ang problema?

Sadyang matagal mag cut off pag mataas ang fan speed. Volume lang ng air ang nag increase pero lamig ng hangin hindi.

Before I had problem with the a/c compressor. My car a/c system automatically on and off whether the fan blower setting is at #4 or #3 and thermostat setting whether from 70% to 100% at engine idle speed. And from those settings, when driving and accelerates the engine, it auto cuts off the a/c compressor. That is why I am wondering if they charge enough freon or not.
