Radiator clutch fan should not be made direct. meaning you'll making the fan be welded so that it's speed will depend on the engine rpm. This method is not correct. imagine during idling the rotation of the fan is dependent to the engine rpm(slow), so water temp. might rise up. Check/repair clutch fan fluid.
Have the water jackets of your engine remove and replace with a new one. But B4 putting back the new water jacket clean the inner portion of the cylinder walls. Most likely clogged na ng kalawang ang engine mo because of the type of water U are using.
Change the fan blade with LATA if made of plastic. Then convert the pulley of the fan into smaller diameter para bumilis ang ikot ! Dalhin mo sa machine shop, but not smaller than 2 inches ang diameter, the belt will heat up. Through this solve ang overheating engine mo ! Proven na!
It's somewhat same look as a radiator cap underneath, and same principle.

Sa mga tumataas temperature kapag mabilis, pwedeng luma na hoses nyo. An engine under high load/rpm will cause the water pump to exert higher pressure. This high pressure in a sealed cooling system will cause the hoses to collapse (napipipi), in turn causing a restriction and thus higher temperatures.
we have fb l300, mejo pa 3/4 n ang thermostat ng bumayahe kami paranaque- manila?....., kaya tiniggil nmin, nakita nmin ung clutch fan freewheeling na, pinagawa nmin somewhere s mga radiator shop naggupit ng rubber tapos ok n, after a week bumigay n nman, sinubukan i rekta ung fan sa engine, bumigay nman ung welding nila, freewheel ulit, its to change na b ung clutch fan or mg second option p n titingin n mechanic?

sir freewheel tlaga yang clutch fan, pero kelangan maganit kapag inikot nyo lang ng kamay nyo kasi may silicon yan sa loob, kung hindi maganit ikutin baka tuyo na silicon nyan. Pinakauna nyong gawin sir after macheck yung clutch fan, ipa-linis nyo yung radiator, babaklasin yan then susundutin para ma de-clog, then patanggal nyo din yung thermostat para lalo gumanda sirkulasyon ng tubig. Yung L3 ko ganyan lang maintenance ko every 2yrs kaya very cool sya.
Kapag hindi nadale, malamang may tama na yang makina mo. HTH :-)

Ano ba talaga dapat gawin kapag nag ooverheat na ang makina na 4d56 ? halimbawa, tumatakbo ka ng 110kph then all of a sudden you see Black Smoke exhausting at your rear, then pag tingin mo sa gauge lampas na sa Red (overheat na tlaga),, natural na mag memenor ka na at itatabi mo yung auto,,

if overheating, hayaan magidle ang makina to let the water flow from engine to radiator and vv. kasi alam naman natin na ung radiator serves as the heat exchanger ng engine. kung pinatay mo at once ung makina, hindi na rin magccirculate tubig therefore nagslow down ung heat exchange ng makina with the surroundings
