What's the best car tint brand and color?

Not a bad idea, but make sure the tint you have currently in place is branded and not some generic tint from the Casa.

You might also want to consider replacing the tint all together as tint manufacturers void warranty- if their respective tints are applied on another layer.

The installers you choose must be extra cautious in scrapping off old tints. They must use a solution ( combination of acetone + a dishwashing liquid ) to ease off binded tints that are stuck on the surface + Their blades must also be of good quality ( Japan preferably ) to ensure a smooth and clean looking window / windshield.

my car is already covered with 3M tint,.. Superblack on the sides and rear... Medium Black on front.. Planning to add another layer at front... Kasi medyo naaninag pa ako sa loob eh.. gusto ko kasi di talaga ako nakikita sa loob.. What do you suggest? what kind of tint and shade? Thanks..

Ok po ba ang Medium black ng 3M? Ayoko kasi nakikita ako sa loob while driving and I'am also concerned kung hindi naman makakaabala sa pagdadrive ko to pag gabi..thanks!

sabi ko na nga ba at may kalokohan talaga itong shop na ito. Naalala ko dati na nag inquire ako sa shop nila, iba ang presyo ng cash at charge sa credit card, nagpalusot pa na promo price daw kaya iba presyo.

Wag nalang kayo magpapaloko sa kanila lalo na yung v-kool promo tints nila. May nabasa ako sa ibang forums na nag-painstall ng v-kool tint sa kanila, and he says its not working like it should. Yun pala fake yung tint nila. They're already banned in fortuner forums. After learning about their scam, sa Solargard (exclusive distributor of v-kool tints) na ako nagpa-install ng v-kool. Kahit sa windshield lang ang pina-install ko na v-kool, it really works very well according to what it claims on heat rejection.

If you want vkool tint then sa solargard ka na magpakabit kahit malayo sa inyo; it's better safe than sorry. Minsan ka lang din naman magpapakabit ng tint so dun ka na sa sure na matino. If you want 3M or other tints meron sa araneta or banawe. I've read good feedbacks with Araneta Car Accessories. Sa banawe ang dami rin but choose only the big shops there if you want to be sure of your tint. Marami din kasi nagkalat na fake dun. Just my 2 cents.

Solargard is near Santolan and Ortigas Ave. intersection. If you're coming from Greenhills, turn left on this intersection and you'll easily notice the big shop of Concept One Wheels (right side). In front of this store is Solargard. Their staff will ask you to park your car in their tint room once you're ready to have your tint installed. Phone no. is 7255570.

Just read the supplied link about LA Cars. Medyo na-intriga ako, so I clicked on his profile. Banned na pala siya? Eh alam ko sponsor siya ng tsikot, di ba?

Anyway, andami na nitong inagrabyado, halos lahat na yata ng car clubs. I remember sa kotse.com, ford club, tsaka hondaclub.com (old site), maraming nagrereklamo sa kanya.

Buti na lang I'm not in the market for tints. Anyway, sabi din naman ng iba, mas mahal sa shop niya, eh mega-kuripot ako, hehehe
