What's the best car tint brand and color?

Stylewise, the windshield is considered a different entity from the other panes of glass on your vehicle, so yes, having it in a different shade (e.g. neutral) is acceptable.

In other markets, regulations do limit tinting to only the rear side windows and back glass, so that kind of look is also considered as normal/acceptable.

I'm not sure about LA cars. I even get PM's regarding that shop from well known Tsikoteers. Winterpine is good but $$$ talaga. Jeff's shop is reasonably priced, but again, don't expect perfection.

Due to the number of cars that have their cars tinted daily, its best to make an appointment and make sure to be punctual to ensure less waiting time.

sa dealer ng solargard in santolan, superb service nila

they do one piece tint even on curvy and large windows.. they have a tint room too!

mines a mb vito l, malaki windshield and medyo curvy, dinala ko sa banawe, hay sus! palpak lahat, dalawang shops na dinalan ko...

the first shop that i went, they said two piece lang ang pwede sa ganun windshied , kaso yun 2 piece naging 3 piece! 'di kasi nila masara yun edges ng windshield kesa curvy daw mashado, it took them 2 hours na kapalpakan and 2 beses pa nila ginawa palpak pa din!

the 2nd shop kaya daw nila 1pc, kaya go na ko, they stripped off the tint, installed the new tint, alas! palpak pa din! madami alikabok, puro guhit/gasgas yun tint kakahagod and 'di talaga nila masara yun gilid.. kesho yun culprit is the black dots around the window! again it took them 2 hours to install it.. sa inis ko, pagkauwi tinanggal ko yun tint!

it cost me 4k for the two shops

then i had an idea lang na suntok talaga sa buwan na why not dalin ko sa santolan? medyo malayo kasi makati for me...

ayun! it took them only less than 30 minutes to install a 1pc tint with zero dust and scratch sa windshield, and nasara nila yun edges ng tint iba kasi method nila of installing tints, instead of spraying water with shampoo, baby powder lang ginagamit nila and head gun, wala na hagod-hagod pa... bariotik talaga gumagawa sa banawe

very affordable pa rates nila, mas mura pa nga sila sa banawe and you are very sure na solargard ikakabit sa inyo

highly recommended talaga sila!

it cost me only 2,200 for a 65 width windshield.. with the superb service sulit talaga

heat rejection wise, i can't compare 3m and solargard. i've only used magic tint sa 3m, medyo light lang yun shade kaya medyo maiinit pa din. sa solargard kasi i used superblack sa sides and ash (medium black) sa windshield kaya wala talaga init pag tanghali, sa visibility naman ok lang yun solargard, sanayan lang yan, medyo madilim kasi shade na pina install ko

i finally went to solarguard * santolan last thursday and had my front windshield tinted with Vkool 40. the cost was a whopping P9700 because the civic fd front is huge, and the v40 is thicker and is slightly tinted. the windshield has quite a steep slope which means more exposure to uv rays upfront that's why i opted to go for the best tint available here. if it works as expected then i'll probably have my windows tint stripped off and replace with v40 as well. Leslie gave me a quote and it will cost me around 15k for all the windows and the rear windshield. not only is the v40 the most expensive among the vkool tints (i was told), but the rest of the windows are also slightly bigger than other sedans, whatda? miss leslie and the 4 tint boys were very accommodating and informative. they're acquainted with some tsikot.com members here and their stories. a-ha buking, hehe. inspite of their kwentuhan they were able to do a good job under one hour, closing time. good thing cake 2 go bakery nearby has wonderful french apple pie they don't have dine ins but they allowed me to eat there bec they're very nice folks. anyway the tint delivered as promised. you only feel the heat of noontime if you touch the glass but a/c is on low most of the driving time. No hazy or rainbowing effect at night and it provided a clear view even on dark streets. do i sound like a convert?

and remember, walang bubbles pag nag-tint, pag meron they will honor the warranty. palit agad.
