higher VLT will give you more visibility. so in this case, OEM20 beats K14. however, depending sa eye sight or color perception mo, baka may effect din ang color shade, i.e. brownish vs greenish. better do a simple test. magpatong ka ng sample ng K14 at OEM20 sa windshield mo, then select what you prefer.

I have had my vk70 for almost 2 months and this is my humble consumer review of the tint

Visibility and night time driving - more than excellent since its like you dont have tint .. though it may be a security risk not recommended for lady drivers driving alone

Heat rejection - honestly if you expect na hindi iinit yung kotse then dont get it. The car still heats up inside specially if its parked in the scorching sun. Of course the pros really is it cools down faster once ac is on and you dont really feel the heat that much while your driving (i emphasize the that much because you still feel it)

Overall im pretty satisfied with the product since im blind as a bat so the clear tint was really my objective.for the price of course to be honest its pretty expensive considering spending over 20k for a tint but you get what you pay for (technology)

Warranty and after service im yet to find out as im due to return it since there are some bubbles in it just cant find the time to do so

So my general advice to everyone is itsbetter than the 3m tint.. yes it is... is double the price worth it i leave it up to you but dont get it with the expectation na di iinit yung kotse

3M Crystalline tints also costs as much as V-Kool VK series tint. There's VK40 and VK30 series tint if you want to have some privacy.

Had V-Kool installed when I got my car. Didn't cost me anything, so I opted for the V-Kool (instead of the cheaper 3M option). Btw, mine is the entry-level (of course, got it for "free").

Of all tints I have used in previous cars, I would say V-Kool really stays "cool" much better. Heat rejection is good for an entry-level tint, and clarity is just perfect.

Did you get the OEM version? And what shade do you have?

I agree. My Monty has 3M while my TBZ has VKool (OEM 05 and 20). I parked them under the sun side by side under the same conditions. VKool is way better with heat rejection.

It was raining that time going to nueva ecija ( san jose ) at the middle of the night and seriously i was driving really slow because i cant see a thing man . nevertheless it was my decision to wrap it with k14 all over so i have to take the consequences

Went to Tint My Ride to have some tint installed.

I was very pleased with the service. The air conditioned tinting room minimized the dust in the atmosphere and made it more pleasant to watch them install the tint. They fully covered the interior of my car to protect it from dirt. Ganito na pala ngayon, last time ko magpa-tint sa kalye pa along Banawe.

The staff also surprised me by giving me soft drinks while waiting. Of course nahiya ako told them to give it to the installers.

    I'd definitely recommend this place.

As for the tint, the jury is still out. Installed OEM 20 in the windshield and back, and OEM 5 on the sides.

Had my new WS tinted with K28 again. Sa v-Kool main office again. Since ito yun pinakamalapit, naging sponsor ng car group that I'm in and hoping na maayos na yun tint jobs nila e dun ko na pinakabit. Wrong decision. Di na ko nadala sa backjobs before at eto meron na naman. Bumalik ako para papalitan because of countless dust and thread na naipit sa tint, may nakaangat and may malaking bubble near the rear view mirror. Ang ginawa hinagod lang yun angat and bubble and after a while bumalik din. And intayin ko "mawala daw yun dust". At dahil sa badtrip, umuwi na lang ako. May marecommend ba kayo in makati or near makati na ayos mag-install ng tints? Siyempre v-kool pa rin.

Sorry mga bossing if this was answered before but since naka sched na tom yung installation just have to ask kung ok ba yung clarity ng VK30 / VK40 sa loob ng car? Di ba sya masyado madilim sa gabi? Will see it tom kaso sa araw ikakabit so
can't tell the performance pag gabi na. Wifey will primarily be driving the car so privacy is more of a concern, kaso pag masyado naman madilim baka mahirapan sya magdrive.

BTW galing sya sa halos clear na tint di ko lang alam kung anung brand/klase medyo kita siya sa loob, usually may kasama sya mag drive dati but now medyo mapapadalas na magisa lng sya.

Maliwanag yan! Kahit 20 pa sa sides hindi ka pa rin mahihirapan pero wala namang VK 20 eh

Take note that VK40 has better heat rejection that VK30.

Did not notice the better heat rejection ni VK40, sa specs sheet sa mga website panu lamang ng konti sa specs si VK30 but no mention of heat rejection (only IR and UV) although sa showroom nila may mga nakadisplay nga na heat rejection na specs on their different films but was not able to noticed it. Decided na panu ko siguro sa VK30 since I liked the shade from outside and clarity sa loob plus the fact na Gen2 films siya ni V-kool.

Di nga lang masyado nakuha shade nung front row and 2nd row, greenish pala shade ni VK, 2nd row windows parang naka privacy mismo glass so black yung shade, di lumitaw yung greenish shade nung tint.

Deciding to go with the X05 para pareho 1st and 2nd rows windows kaso wala bawas sa bayad, went for the better spec VK

Impressed with the performance of v-kool kanina. Nasa NLEX between 10-11 am, my wife noticed that she don't have to put her left arm sa armrest to shade it against the sun pag tinatamaan siya nung sikat ng araw, unlike before na nararamdaman nya yung init ng tama nung araw, so now she can keep both her hands all the time on the steering wheel. Nakabilad yung sasakyan between 12-2pm pag pasok ko mainit ng konti, kaso night and day difference nung cabin temp nung wala pa tint yung sasakyan plus ang bilis lumamig pag bukas ng aircon.

Only complaint so far is that di nadedetect si easytrip and yung parang rainbow effect sa labas at a certain angle and distance (mawawala din daw) , although di naman affected view sa loob

I agree. For the longest tome, I used 3M tint on all my cars. With my new ride, I installed VKool. The improved heat rejection properties are noticeable.

yes, OEM 5 is super dark so good for privacy but bad for night driving. do not use on windshield. for other glass, it is okay.

Anyone here have 'V Kool' tint?
