I find your situations surprising. I got my VKool from Tinthub Ortigas and there's only 1 water bubble which went away after a week.

Depends on the tint. They said that bubbles are more common for higher end tint that's thicker and stiffer. True enough, I had no bubbles with my OEM20, unlike my VK70.

It just seems that there are no bubbles because OEM 20 is darker. Usually, the lighter the tint shade, the more visible the bubbles are.

If babad cya lagi sa araw at marami pa ding bubbles ibalik mo yan. Vk30ws K14wraparound. . .

Tnx sir jut for the explanation. Sana tama lng decision ko na oem 20 ws and oem 5 for all windows. Hope di sya ganun kadilim when driving at night.

I hope it's not yet too late. Taga rizal ka pa naman based on your profile location.
Up to you bro kung ang priority mo eh porma vs safety mo or safety ng ibang tao. Basta ingat na lang sa pagmamaneho.

I have OEM20 wraparound and I think its only drawback pag direct sunlight is kita pa rin yung loob. Di ka easily identifiable, but maaaninag ka. If you want complete anonymity in the morning, OEM5 is better. But I've had OEM5 before and ang layo ng visibility sa OEM20, much less sa VK70.

When parking in indoor spaces with the OEM20, I don't usually have to roll my windows down, though of course doing so increases visibility significantly.

Heat rejection is okay, better than my VK70 actually under direct sunlight. This is despite the VK70 having 55% TSER while 50% TSER only for the OEM20.

BTW, when comparing heat rejection, look at TSER instead of published heat rejection. This is more objective and is pretty standard across all brands.

    OEM5 has 70% TSER.

Madilim siya at night, relative to all other tints. Walang tint na maliwanag sa gabi pero completely dark when viewed from outside.

If you want heat rejection and visibility, get VK tint.

Thanks.

My GPS works fine with my VK70. A bit longer to lock in compared to OEM20, but I have no problem using Waze.

Hindi ko muna sir pinakabit. Baka mag sisi ako pag gabi at wala ako masyado makita. Planing to install oem 20 tuloy on all sides. Oem series lang kasi nakikita kong parang shade of black. Yung iba kasi parang mirror na. Will check muna sguro if how dark ang oem 5 during night driving. Kanino kaya pwede maki sit in

Checking also on solargard hp charcoal series. Parang mas madilim ata compare sa vcool oem.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the reason why you want OEM05?

The fact is, OEM05 lets in 4x less light than OEM20. Some people will still say that even with minimal VLT (visible light transmission), they can drive perfectly well with OEM 05.

It's your choice if you want to believe those statements. Just ask yourself this, "Are my reasons for getting OEM05 really that important that I am willing to compromise night time visibility?"

I do have the darkest charcoal on my daily car, then oem 5 on the other. For me, ayaw ko na ng dark tints Joke. Privacy kasi. Anyway, mas madilim yung charcoal for me.

Anyone here have 'V Kool' tint?
