It raises questions about their credibility. How can they ever claim from here on that their cars are clean cars. Di nansila pwede magyabang.

With cars nowadays being run by software, this type of cheating can easily be done without changing or altering a single physical component. VW may well be just the tip of the iceberg. Other companies may also have been doing something similar at one lever or another.

They did that with their diesel vehicles. Not all VW vehicles are affected. It's probably an industry practice.

Basically dont buy anything from audi/volks with a 2.0 tdi engine. Poor tiguan, audi a4 and soon to be launched passat owners.

Oh i forgot, we dont really have strict emission laws here.

Kaya marami nag-egr blanking dito e

Ang tindi ng fine. $37,500 per vehicle. 1.6m peso per vehicle. Wala nang tinubo. O baka abonado pa

Benta na lang dito sa 'Pinas at a big discount yung mga models na di puwede ibenta sa US. VW's chief local executive did say that our local diesel is a better fit for their TDI engines compared to the local gasoline. No need for the cheating software. hehehehe

Laki ng multa! Mas mahal pa ata sa US retail value ng Golf, Jetta, at Passat with the 2.0L TDI engine.

Pano kaya nalalaman ng software kung under emissions test yung car? And pano naman nalaman na may cheat software yung car?

Wala namang kuwenta emission testing sa atin

Haven't heard of an accredited Emissions Testing Center giving a fail to any vehicle for that matter. Dun palang, magtataka ka na. Money-making enterprise talaga!
