Sheep, not to worry you or anything, pero I came across a story about Jason Magbanua. There was a couple who booked him for video services, he supposedly promised their AVP after three weeks. More than a year passed, hindi pa rin daw nila nakukuha yung AVP nila. Whenever they would go to his office to check, ayaw patignan sa kanila maski yung unedited version.

They suspect that Jason had lost the raw video files daw of their wedding.

what! 75k for the video coverage? whew here in the province when i got married 1999 it cost us 7k for the video and 12k for the photos. Iba talaga sa manila. and the guys that we hired are the best in town na.

My wife makes great wedding cakes. Parang hobby niya lang ito
thats why hindi siya nagtitipid sa ingredients and very reasonably
priced.

She studied sa Wilton School In California so i can assure you
hindi 'cheappangga' cakes niya hehehe.

I ask her nga kung hindi siya nalulugi sa ginagawa niya kasi loaded
talaga with walnuts and dates, choc chips etc. yung cakes niya.
Palibhasa pinapadalhan siya ng Dad niya from the States kaya
hindi niya tinitipid.

i highly recommend ariel javelosa. i saw his pics first from a friend of mine, we hired them, at the same time (before we mentioned ariel) our coordinator also recommend his company! a few months ago, we fround out another friend of mine became a customer and very happy about the pics and vid. i agree he didnt work for our wedding, but his staff is very professional and easy to work with. be sure to ask for the unedited videos. he has a website, or pm me, i can show you ours.

regarding hiring a wedding coordinator, i can recommend ours, i just need to search their info. kungdi ka kukuha, assign ka ng official coordinator whether friend or family. you dont want family, friends, etc trying to tell you what to do and what details, blah, blah, blah. personally, the cost is worth it.

last, make sure to get what you two want. nung nagoorder kami ng signature frame kasama ng package, pag dating namin sa office may nakaset na plain frame para sa amin! nakasulat pa naman sa detail "our choice of frame." naginsist kami at nakapili tapos binanggit narin namin sa partner nila kung anong nangyari.

hehe... mukhang pareho rin magiging experience namin. medyo metikulosa kasi si labidabs, marunong din kasi sa design and lay-out. pero ok yung mga layo-outs nila...sa mga pinakita nilang samples, ok na sa akin...naguguluhan nga kami kung b&w or colored papagawa namin... kasi ang ganda ng dating ng b&w...elegante tingnan. pero sayang din pag walang colored photos na makikita. baka mix na lang siguro.

as of now, nasa amin na yung raw files, pipili na lang to submit for layouting/ album.

dahil buffet lahat ng putahe nag taste test kami...

also may nagsabi sa akin before na 80-85% lang ang darating sa wedding, true enough 280 out of 350 came for my wedding.


usually lahat sa reception/hotel upgradable like yung kasama na package na room pina upgrade ko na villa, yung mga cold cuts sa menu pinaalis ko at pinadagdag ko ang desserts

i just got married nov2004 and from my experience, the most important things are: food, photography and a wedding coordinator. food kasi ito talaga ang naalala ng mga guests mo (and you wouldn't want to do them any dis-service by feeding them substandard cooking right?). photography kasi for posterity. and a wedding coordinator kasi you will absolutely not be able to fix things on your own. for food: mandarin the best, grand hyatt (pedro gil) second, everything else pare-pareho lang lasa (in case you're wondering: we went to mandarin). photographer try out gammy parazo or lito sy. the thing with ariel javelosa, siya mismo will tell you that either hindi siya makakapunta sa event or sandali lang siyang mag-drop by. (although magaling nga ang photographer pool niya.) for coordinators: check out weddings by victoria (look for nina). i can't say enough of what a big difference and what a big help they extended to us.
