ya i agree with them, i suggest check muna kayo sa malls, site, place, mag tour muna kayo from different hotels, resto, etc... and asked some good and bad things sa mga kinasal na. para prefered kayo. nun kinasal ako dalawa wedding coordinator ko, 1 from camera/movie director, and the other one from reception, i like them combined sila ng idea and there really good. and we're watching some wedding sa church, what they wear, moves, etc. then we combined the idea, maganda kinalabasan

for the invites, yung supervisor ko gumagawa niyan as her sideline... depende sa design kasi yung price.

sa coordinator, si bogeyman tumitira nyan... though may friend rin ako na sideline rin ng ganun... depende yata sa involvement... parang 22K for the whole wedding, then 12K for on the day lang...

PM mo na lang ako for their contact details.

You can actually do the planning yourself. A lot of magazines carry checklists for weddings. But you need at least ONE year lead time to save yourself headaches. For around 20k, a wedding planner isn't a bad idea... considering you will spend between 100k (simple lang) to 300k (maganda) or 500k (no corners cut... all out bongga!) on your wedding.

We had advice from a planner for suppliers (their discounts help!) but we did most everything ourselves. Spent 300-330k all in all, saved maybe 60k through careful choice of suppliers and discounts, but we didn't pay for limo, church or reception area (helps to have relatives with really REALLY nice gardens).

Oh, having a coordinator on the day of the wedding is almost a MUST.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Wedding planner???? Dagdag gastos lang yan hehehehehe. Kung yung friend mo maraming pera ok lang ang wedding planner pero kung nasa budget ang kasal nila then i-allocate na lang yng pambayad sa wedding planner sa ibang bagay. 20K for a wedding planner...... aba eh magandang damit na yan for the bride d b! Usually ang mabusisi lang naman sa kasal eh yung RECEPTION. May mga package deals naman pagdating sa ganyan. Your friend can call well-known caterers like TAMAYO'S or HOTELS, and they will include the reception coordinator sa package nila. Surely makakamura yung friend mo. Pag sa photo and video coverage, better to hire a trusted one yung kakilala na ng friend mo para sigurado. Invitations are easy to prepare. Materials abound in Divisoria and your friend just needs to do a research on the materials needed. Nung ikinasal kami ni misis, all-in-one package na except sa FOOD kasi gusto namin sarili namin yung chef/cook. 500 + heads ang bisita namin and nakamura talaga kami. I won't mention kung magkano gastos namin pero you would be surprised if i mention it ;)

well...in a way, tama si ser jim. sa amin, di uubra ang coordinator sa sobrang metikuloso ni labidabs, hands-on kasi sobra...sya talaga nagasikaso.

we got tamayo's as our caterer/ reception.... package na din.

    masarap ang pakiramdam pagkatapos...
