When you buy a car through mortgage, sa yo nakapangalan ang certificate of registration(cr) but encumbered siya sa bank. Bank ang may hawak ng original CR.

    "nakalista na sila."
that's all it is. they are now listed under uber or grab or whatever.. and since they are earning income, they have to pay the requisite taxes.
they have to abide by the rules.
no big deal to the honest businessmen.. very big deal to those who intend otherwise.

And insurance coverage is classified as commercial hence any existing private policy needs to be ammended otherwise the insurance adjuster may reject any claims.

I guess it will only apply if you file a personal car loan. If business loan, pwede naman pangtaxi yung loan i guess.

    acording to the 6:30 news..
these glorified taxis are now getting choosy over their customers, and some have reported extortion attempts ("tips" daw).

it would appear... the neo grab or uber drivers, former regular taxi drivers.. brought along their bad habits with them..
