first of all i never wanted to rate my rides below 5 stars, unless the ride was too much of a hassle for me.
1. manong rolando was polite the first km
2. changed attitude and driving towards the trip
a. unnecesary braking (you can always slow down as you can see the traffic situation before you enter it)
b. wanted to take a longer route (think 3 to 5 more km), though the traffic situation there is equally bad (as per waze, and did i mention longer)
c. typical taxi driver attitude of arguing with route preferred by rider (which was suggested by waze may i add); a little bit of banging (albeit softer than usual cab drivers) of the steering wheel, and a lot of head scratching as if his preferred route will miraculously teleport us to our destination
d. turned off the AC (this was after i asked him to take c5 instead of going to marikina). manong rolando must have felt the heatwave so he then turn it on to very low settings.
if i wanted this experience, i would have ridden a cab instead. at the least i would have paid cheaper fare, plus i would have the option not to tip the driver because of the attitude.
tip: avoid hiring people who are not passionate about driving. this was a far cry from owner driven vehicles of uber.
this is the first time i never thanked a driver after a ride

It looks like the fare is different than you expected due to a GPS issue, which also explains why the driver lost his trust in Waze during the trip. Because fares are based on the distance and time recorded by GPS data in your driver’s app, technical errors can occasionally lead to inaccurate fares.

I really appreciate the discount.* i would like to thank you/uber for that.* Please do reprimand the driver as this experience was not what people would expect from uber.* I know this does not reflect all uber partners, as there are several who i know personally.* Again, as much as i dont like to give a low rating to an uber driver, as this will affect their livelihood; i really had no choice as i did not want other uber riders to experience what i experience earlier.

Binigyan ako ng 40php discount sa almost 200php fare. Their trying really hard, but the 40php discount was not worth the ride.
Pasensya na sa mga maling english kung meron man, inis talaga ako kanina hehehe

Uber should really address the growing number of complaints against their "taxi attitude" driver. Otherwise there isn't much incentive in taking uber. Mag ta taxi na lang mga tao, mas mura pa.
Same price lang halos Uber and normal taxi. What I like is not having to hail a cab, and riding an unmarked car.
I rarely ride Uber but so far the drivers have all been courteous.

3rd time ko na ito magreklamo. Maganda lang dito, mabilis ang respond ng uber, barya man may nababalik kahit paano (nakakainis pero at the least sinusubukan nila ayusin). Yung 1st and 2nd incident may action din naman sila. kung sa taxi ito, wala mangyayari sa reklamo mo, unless gusto mo maubos oras mo.

Wait lang kayo guys, madadagdagan ang corteous drivers ng Uber in a couple of months kapag Pro na ang license ko.. hehehe. Non-Pro pa lang kasi ako so still can't register my swift sa Uber.
yung sa officemate ko nagtry mag drive uber last saturday. whole day aya nagdrive. 900 lang gross nya. lugi pa sya sa gas.

^ according sa Uber driver na nakausap ko dati, pwede outside MM. Ang usapan daw was, tuloy ang trip hanggang makabalik sila since makikita mo naman daw sa map yung location nila.

Probably because of the taxi drivers jumping ship to Uber/Grab? We took a Grab car from a meeting the other week and the driver was obviously an ex-taxi driver.
I think it's the wrong business sense to buy a car just to Uber it. With this i expect dadami yung mga Mirage, Vios, Rio, Accent sa mga bank repo lots in the next year or so. Mas mainam if you look at Uber as a means of asset maximization such as you have a car and driver who has a sizeable downtime during certain hours so there you can have him do the rounds.
