I tried Uber X today and I was disappointed for the first time.

My pick up point was Toyota Pasig then the driver texted me if he could start the trip already. In the map he was at J Vargas pa ata which is quite some time and distance pa from the casa. I found it off Is this normal na for Uber?

There was also something very wrong with the car. It was okay idling but when running I felt like the car was gonna fall apart. It felt like I was riding off road in an old jeepney and I was nauseous thorough out the ride. My worst ride experience was a Kia Besta (our laspag bank car) and that felt like luxurious compared to the Uber City I rode. I was thinking of just dropping off at Tiendesitas since I was scared that we would get into an accident. Thankfully I got home in one piece. I don't wanna put a bad rating naman since the driver was friendly throughout the ride.

I read in fb na nagiiba na ata ang rates ng uber for their partners. Hirap na daw sila kumita lalo na yung mga naghire ng drivers.

Cat, you should send a complain to Uber. madaya yund driver if he wanted to start the trip even if he hasn't arrived the pick up point yet. parang naging asal PUV driver na.

Uber adjusted rates kasi sobrang dami na daw pumapasok na Uber partners. Yung dating rates kasi, may parang subsidy yun. Now they removed the subsidy na so ROI is much longer.

My last Uber X was in December, and so far the vehicles are still good (Altis, Accent, Vios were my last 3 rides, all bnew).

Last few times I used Uber was in November. All really well-maintained or new cars. (TOTL Innova, brand new Avanza, current-gen Vios) The driver of the Avanza was proud pa nga that his ride (he was the owner too) passed the very strict requirements of Uber. My friend uses Uber on his coding days until now, and as far as I know, he hasn't been disappointed yet.

Maybe you should complain na nga, especially if this was an isolated case. For quality control. I think the driver mentioned a refund if the customer's complaint is valid

Based on the plate number it was a 2009 model. Today was very disappointing. The car also had several empty bottles of water and soda inside.

Na guilty ako kasi mabait naman siya throughout the ride (medyo mahangin at barbero nga lang ) Though magulang talaga yung gusto niya i start yung trip e malayo pa siya. I am sure may magbibigay din ng negative diyan.

sa araw araw ko sakay ng cab. maraming mababait na cab driver, pero sh*tty driving parin. partida sa harap ako nakaupo palagi. anyway cathy i strongly suggest you complain once you experience this again. yung isang sup namin sa office na nag uuber, may mga extra service pa syang offer sa customer nya, kaso 4 star lang daw binibigay sa kanya madalas.

sorry was not clear pero tawa ako sa supsup :D

anyway ang special service nya ay may wifi (kinda moot cause most if not all uber users use data service), may usb charger for mobile phones and gadgets (madalas daw magamit talaga), lastly hi end (imported candies)

hindi lang naman dito sa pilipinas nirereklamo yang uber eh sa india ban na yan at yung driver ng uber eh nang rape sa europe gusto na din pa ban yan at hindi nga sumusunod sa transportation law nila

I've tried UberX lots of times and it's a much more pleasant experience than a taxi, at roughly the same price (as long as hindi surge).

Uber Black is too expensive IMO. Just get it if you want a Camry/Montero to pick you up.
