Yung posted numbers ko pala is net pay with driver using the car for 12 hours a day average, sometimes less pag tinamad daw yung driver ng officemate kl. Car is AT vios E.
Number of pickups in a day kasi bro iba iba talaga. I myself would not quit my day job for this.

Kung 12 hrs a day akong magtatrabaho for 6-7 days no thanks nalang sa 20k per week kahit net pa yan.

What's the gross margin per customer/kilometer? All computations are pointless unless you have a concrete idea of how much you make for every km your customer travels.

UberX flagdown rate is P40, idle rate is P2/min, kilometrage is P5.70/km. For a 10 km trip with no traffic, the customer will pay P97. How much will I get for that? Assuming 8 km/L and P40/L gasoline, that's P50 on gas at least. So I have to get at least P50-60 to breakeven for the cost of gas and wear and tear for my car.

Just read the Uber forums. Doesn't make sense to do Uber as a part time thing, not worth your time. Uber gets about 20% of your net fare, so in my example above, that's 80 pesos for you and 20 for them. You subtract the P50 for your gas and you're left with P30 pesos for roughly 30 minutes of your time. 12 hrs a week for 6 days at that rate will get you about 4.5k, not including depreciation and wear and tear.

Of course, if you log in more hours per week then you get the incentives as well. But I still think it's not worth your time. Tama nga yung sabi nung Uber driver na nakausap ko before - they only make money during surges. On normal rates, they're just wearing down their cars to break even. Mas malaki pa ibababa ng resale value ng kotse because of the added abuse compared to what you'll earn.

So the 7-11k was with 20-25 passengers per day or with 7-10 passengers per day? Cuz thats less than half so their 7k might be more like 3.5k now, not including amortization and maintenance expenses.

Baka exaggerated nanaman yan mga figures, pinoy has penchant of exaggerating everything.

Maybe that figures are for "perfect day" sunod-sunod Ang savage but we all know real world doesn't work that way.

Only difference with foresterx reply is tumaas yung kita nya from 1-2k per day to 3k average.

7-10 passengers per day yung 7-11k weekly. didn't ask them how much they made on the 20-25 passengers per day.

they started nung bago pa lang uber dito sa atin and they were making 2-2,500 per day kaya kinukulit din nila ako na mag pasok sa uber dati para may extra income nga daw na malaki. but now when i talked to them recently di na nila inaadvice dahil 7-11k na nga lang daw average per week.

So kunwari I decide to register my car, tapos magonline lang ako pagsurge, and byahe lang ako mga 1-2 hrs per day, how much per dat likely kikitain ko?

And pwede ba yun na magonline ka lang kung kelan mo gusto, without any minimum required hours?

Actually parang ganun ang point ng uber. Ride sharing.

See? We can't even agree if theres such a thing as required minimum hours per week more so if figures of weekly earnings are accurate. [emoji16]

Sana meron talaga actual operetors mag contribute and give us actual figures.

Basically, those that are making good profit will tell you otherwise so they will have less competition.

Sabi nung Uber driver/car owner na nasakyan ko kahapon, ang nakakalaki sa kita yung pagmeet ng minimum number of TRIPS (not hours) per week na sineset ng company to get the incentive. Sunday 4pm daw yung cutoff ng count nila tapos nagbabago-bago yung count and prize. Example, this week daw may ilang thousand na bonus if you get 50 trips.

ayaw pa istorbo ni officemate, busy daw sya. eto napag usapan namin.
50 or more trips a week despite of the amount of charge sa customer (e.g. 80php lang) guaranteed 275 PhP multiplier per trip (again as long as you hit the 50 trips per week). pag over 50 trips ka x 275 PhP parin. bukod pa syempre yung lumalampas sa 275 PhP.
