May FB page nga ang Philippine distributor nila before but all their numbers (landlines and mobiles) are inactive already, kasama na ang Promenade and MCS.

I'll check out MCS na lang.

    Thanks.

Sarado na ang MaxPed sa MCS Fyi. Closest option you have is 5.11 which has a boutique also in MCS. Some gun store in MCS carry a few MaxPed bags.

I can attest to the durability of Samsonite. I still have a Samsonite carry-on leather bag I took back with me in the early 80's. I've taken it on every trip I've been on (except to Japan and the PH, <----backpack only) ever since.

I've tossed it around like a trash bag, stepped on it, overloaded it, and then buried it under heavier stuff. Clean it up and...... no punctures, just a few scuffed surfaces, zippers work right. It'll be my main carry bag on our road trip this summer. 35 years old and counting.

even if it's now made in china, samsonite, to me, is still the default brand.
in years past, i didn't like it too much. "wala pang laman, ay mabigat na!"
but the much cheaper brands are not bad... echolac is my second default.
for knapsacks and buddy bags, i use whatever my specialty medical society gives away during the annual conventions.

Our first set of Samsonite is still alive and kicking. These are the soft fabric type though. I want to get a set of hard cases but I really hate scratches. And they attract scratches like a magnet.

i alternately use samsonite and delsey brands...
both hardcases small size luggages. pang hand carry lang dala ko at yung work ko need sumakay sa chopper, di allowed ang malaking luggage
saka yung airport nila where i work, matagal at hassle maghintay kung may checked-in luggage, oras hihintayin bago lumabas ang bagahe
minsan ginagamit ko yung luggage na lalagyan ng alak (black label o chivas) sa duty free, nakakatagal din ng ilang biyahe

For us... American Tourister and Carlton...

My sister is presently using Forthpack, we bought it from Trinoma. Seller said it's a local brand... So far so good, it's surviving my sister's trips to Europe and Asia
