    Speaking of real estate, the other day, one chinese friend asked me if real estate is cheap in the Philippines, kasi daw, he received a lot of ads lately offering condos sa pinas kaya nagtataka siya kung mura nga or hindi.

    ako kasi inaantsy ko lang ang Corinthians maglagay ng compound townhouses sa mga lupain nila, ngaun kasi mayabang pa ang association dyan gusto mga mansion lagi eh kaya lang the young people dont wanna buy big houses anymore

    Kasi ako bibile lang ako ng house kung sa Corinthians or green meadows. Sa Valle verde kasi kung san ako lumaki nag convert na ang mga big houses dito to townhouses compound like the ones in San Juan.

    Actually andami bagsak ng condo prices sa BGC, people just dont know whereto look. Kasi they are looking at the newly builr ones.

    Yun sa forbes town center ni megaworld dami na bagsak dun and those first condos facing libingan ng bayani . Though sa libingan ng bayani ocndos, alam ko kung bakit drop prices dun

    Fake news ka OB. Walang bumagsak na condo sa BGC. Ung sa megaworld projects sa burgos circle have gone up X2 for forbeswood and X3 for parklane. Bellagio 1, 2, 3 and 8 forbestown prices have skyrocketed. Tsaka hindi un libingan ng mga bayani. American cemetery un which well maintained and funded by the US embassy. Kung may medyo sablay na project sa BGC, ung ang fort victoria. Binili ng mga homeowners ng pacific plaza at pinatirahan ng yayas and drivers nila sa galit nila na hinarangan ang view.

Asynchronous dsl. Pag vdsl kung ano ang given sayo na down spead, say 20Mbs, ganun din ang up speed 20Mps. Pero pag AdSL, pag 20Mbps, minsan 5mpbs ang up or pag malas malas 1mbps. Kitang kita yan sa ookla. But distance to dslam less than 1000 meters.

    And then there’s fiber, 50Mbps up to 200Mbps +, the best yan for smart home vlogger uploading hi-tech millennials families. Distance to dslam limitless.

    So when you canvass your home, eto ang priority number 1 nyo, connection cables. Coz if you gonna buy an old condo with old telphone brown wire, youre gonna stuck it with for life, and paying mortgage on a old building for life din

    i have been a condo resident for like almost 15 years now,

    sa first condo ko nakita ko talaga kung gano kabilis mag-degrade ang isang condo.

    it can be blamed to two things:
    1. neighbors
    1. admin

    ang Neighbors pag may aso o burara, chances are the fleas and the cockroaches will flock sa neighboring units Nyab until such time na lilipat Yan sayo hinde mo Yan mapipigilan.

    And then pag ang neighbor lagi nagluluto ng tuyo o mga masarap na pinoy na pagkain , even if with range hood, chances are mangagamoy pa din ang hallway. in time, mag aamoy Ulam ang hallway if not treated properly by the condo admin maintenance

    and then there is the garbage chute. usually, ang burara dito eh mga yaya o helper na inutusan magtapon ng basura na may mga sabaw ng adobo, mechado, ramen na mag-drip sa hallway or even sa hallway papunta sa garbage chute

    so given all these hygiene problems, do take note that a condo is just classy refugee camp, where in kulambo ang pagitan nyo sa isang makeshift school gym pero condo separated by walls and inverter AC.

    ang Condo matande ang degradation nya, in 3-5 years time, yun bagging-bago feeling, ngaun amoy paa na.
