Dont forget sir Ocean Park and Victoria Peak. Last May nag stay kami sa Royal Pacific Hotel, maganda location nyan sir.
I'm changing hotels... medyo mura pala sa Conrad (Hilton) HongKong relatively... (plus magamit din yung Hilton Honors card namin). Here's their rate for a 4d/3n w/ Breakfast:
P18K / City View / Superior
P23K / Ocean View / Deluxe
Mag hotel nalang kayo sa city and then mag MTR papuntang Disney.
When we went there last month, 3 nights kami sa Disney Hotel and then we got the 2-day pass sa theme park. Sulit ito especially if you have kids para pagnapagod sila, pwedeng bumalik saglit sa hotel. Then bumalik pa sa theme park mga kids ko the next day, kami nag shopping na.
medyo daming masayang na oras sa check-in/out sa day 3 2pm pa ang check in sa hotel and next day uwi na kayo. Silvermine beach hotel is not as good as 3 star hotel in kowloon or HK island, why not get the DL Hollywood.
I recommend:
Day 1 Airport - Check-in Disney Hollywood Hotel - enter park
Day 2 Disney Park (free 1 day pass if you stay in DL Hotels) check out hotel
3pm - take MTR to Kowloon/ HK Check in Hotel
Day 3 Shopping
Day 4 Shopping check out hotel 12nn, Check tickets at AEL kowloon or HK..
depart HK (last flight)
don't forget to watch the free nightly light show at avenue of stars, 8-8:15pm

^^^ I watched the Symphony of Lights from the Kowloon side (facing HK Island). Wasn't that fascinated by it at all, and judging from the other tourist's reactions, they weren't all that thrilled either.
*Kinyo: You've got nice pictures there. What kind of camera did you use? Mine looks crappy (used my Canon Ixus 40 at maximum resolution).
Both were edited (via Adobe Photoshop Quickfix):

*Galactus ... It's a Nikon D70 in manual control. You need a tripod for shots like these, iirc, I used f8.0/1.5sec/iso 200.

Pero under the Stay & Play promo (until Sep 2008 pa pala!) - sa pagkaintindi ko ha - kapag nag stay ka sa DL Hotel, upgraded agad ang ticket mo to two day pass.
Thanks!
M2, kahit na mag stay ka sa DL hotels, may bayad pa rin ang park tickets, but automatic na two-day pass na yun.
Also, kung gusto mo magbreakfast sa hotel, magavail ka nung parang early reservation for breakfast nila para mas mura. You've got to meet the main Disney characters during breakfast.
Yes, mas ok if you book DL hotel with a travel agent here para kasama free breakfast buffet, I don't know if meron pa promo, mahal kasi ng breakfast. If you are travelling with a family of 3 or 4 better get a Lantau island taxi, turn left when you after you exit the arrival area.
Food in the park is a bit expensive but lots of choices.
Kapag online or email booking straight to HK Disneyland, 30% off lang ang breakfast kapag early booking.
Thanks!![]()
oo free breakfast buffet din kami dati sa Chef Mickey thru our travel agent here
Just been to HK. Post ko lang itinerary ko dito. It was a near perfect holiday. Pagod nga lang.
Booked the tickets thru internet sa PAL. Came out mga 8000+ per head.
8/17 - Met my wife and 2 kids sa HK airport. Took the train to HK station and bus to hotel. We stayed at Express Holiday Inn in Causeway Bay. Its good for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids.
8/18 - Breakfast sa hotel. Went to the Peak Tram. Sightseeing and shopping sa mall sa taas. Going down, we took the double decker bus to Central and did more shopping. It was an adventure sitting on the top of the bus and going down the winding roads. Ate at Central (McDo) then went back to Causeway to drop things and did shopping at Times Square. Since the hotel was just at the back of Times Square, we dropped again our shopping things and went to the Star Ferry terminal to cross to Tsim Sat Tsui. Shopping and eating ulit sa Harbour mall and saw the light show with fireworks. I found it amazing. After a tiring day, we went back to the hotel.
8/19 - Sunday and we had a hard time looking for a church. Eventually we found one and made our way thru Causeway bay to do more shopping. Checked out of the hotel noon and ate lunch just near the hotel. Then we rode the MTR to check in at Disneyland hotel. Got our tickets and went to the park na till closing.
8/20 - Breakfast with the characters, checked out around 10am then back to Disneyland. Stayed until 4pm then back to the hotel just to get our bags and go straight to the airport for our flight back home.
The weather cooperated. No rains but it was a bit hot. Got to go to most of the rides in Disney. The Disney hotel was worth it.
