there's palm village (where collegio sta.rosa is located). its right next to rockwell. rent can go as low as 25-30K a month for a 2-storey house with a 2-car garage. yun lang medyo masikip ang kalye kaya getting out of the village can take 15 minutes. pero for the location and the price, mahirap talunin ito.

The suggestion to get a small place in the city then build a weekend home out of town is actually very appealing.

Katipunan area traffic is bad during school days (7am to 7:45am), 11am-12nn and past from 3pm to past 5pm. It improved somewhat during the past months though when trucks were banned from taking the Katips flyover.

I thiknk mckinley hills hinde dapat i compare sa forbes, ayala alabangor corinthian, dahil napakalayo ng price ng to, magakno ba sa mcvki nley hills low of 10M and high of 15M , sa forbes you need a minimum lot area of 1,000 sq meter, siguro it will cause you around around 70-80 million sioguro pwede pang tumaas to 100M+, the the other villages mention the prices would start around 30M up

so dependesa budget mo kung saan ka talaga makakabili...

an eastwood condo's good. malapit ka from ortigas, etc.

and shempre, yung gimmickan sa eastwood pag weekends.

yoko kasi sa fort, close to the airport, ingay sa mga dumadaan na airplanes, unless ok lang sayo yun.

Sir, if you want a quiet, very exclusive, and beautiful landscaping..try mo, The Orchard Golf and Country Club. We are actually looking into buying a lot there to build a house. It's along the Aguinaldo Highway, between Imus and Dasmarinas. The club house has a gym, billiards, indoor basketball gym, club house restaurant. And it also has 2 golf courses within the village. There are houses along the golf course. The Orchard is very BIG, the land is very large, it's not crowded like ayala alabang. Example, you're driving down the road within the subdivision, you look to ur right, you've got rolling hills with a low white picket fence which borders the 8th hole on the Palmer's course, trees are sporatically placed around the subdivision, and the brisk wind rustles the leaves. U pass by one house, then you drive about 100meters down the road, then you pass by another house. It's one of the most beautiful villages and landscapes I've seen. It truly is.

The location is also great. There's a back gate, where it takes you about 20 minutes to get to Alabang. The front gate, you're about 8 minutes from Robinson's Imus, The Imus Palenge is about 8-10 minutes away. Manila is about 30minutes-45minutes depending on traffic. Tagaytay is less than 50minutes, i usually get there in 40minutes. I live in a subdivision next to the Orchard, very convenient area. Inside the Village, there is security posts throughout the village, many home owners have golf carts which they use to go to the clubhouse to have lunch or find some form of exercise.

I know its not on ur list of villages, but, it's also a village to consider in my opinion. I hope that my father chooses that place to build his retirement home, it's the peace and quiet he's looking for.

thanks kriskros. 2 lang kse kami kaya condo lang ang hinahanap namin. pag house kse, problema pa namin kung sino ang magbabantay dun pag wala kami. it would have been nice dyan, lapit sa golf course. coz i play golf too. also, ayaw pa naminng lumayo sa city life. we're not that old and we even look younger...hehe kaya hayun, condo lang muna.
