Activities or Where to Bring Visiting Foreign Executive

Can anyone suggest a good place to take an executive from India? He wants buffet daw It would be nice to take him out for drinks or any night spot. Indian is late 30s (same age range as the other local/PH management). I'm not updated anymore on places to go since I practically jailed myself at home for 2 yrs during the pandemic.

Makati or BGC only so it's near the office since traffic is terrible now.

i have always liked their buffets.
bright, clean and un-crowded, varied cuisine.
alas, no buffet on sundays.

Avoid taking foreigners to restaurants that serve their home country food ... if you went abroad, would you like your host to take you to Filipino restaurants? ...

if we're talking about Indian from India... they likely can only eat Indian food. Even Chinese food in India tastes like Indian food I think he's just being polite... not unless he really wants to eat in a Buffet

As for Japanese food. they find it too bland and they're not comfortable eating sashimi.

or practices any unique diet, for that matter.

I've only encountered 3 Ind groups:

Muslims - who eat Halal and Ind Veg only.
Vegetarian - those who eat Ind Veg dish and non-meat stuff (like fries and mixed nuts)
The others - who can eat and drink anything.

agree... even my wife's ex boss loves Filipino food and he eats bulalo for breakfast. pero he is technically Norwegian na kasi he travels a lot.

I used to have an Indian colleague who's Vegan... and only eats vegetables that were not taken below the ground (e.g. no onions for him). his religion does not allow harm to anything living, so they cannot damage a plant by pulling it off the ground.

Then there are Indians who are vegetarians on certain days of the week. My boss is vegetarian on Tuesdays and Thursdays only

I'm guessing your visitor is just being nice as he knows a lot of Filipinos cannot handle Indian food...

yes, they exist!
a few of our acquaintances are vegetable pickers.
they simply have to pluck out the vegetable bits from the food, before they can consume whatever's left.

Problema yung timing, it's the week before Christmas and traffic is horrible everywhere and places are packed. Anong oras pa sila makakarating sa destination, baka ma trauma pa sa traffic yung executive :P
