If you were in my place, would you meet your new VP from headquarters in Europe on a HOLIDAY to tour him around Manila?

Our new VP is arriving Oct 31 e holiday yun e! I'm thinking if I should volunteer to tour him around pero honestly tinatamad ako. If it were my boss baka ako pa sumundo sa airport hahaha

But I'm thinking I need this for my.career hahaha just kidding. Pero if it were me kasi I'd appreciate it if my people would have done that for me. It's his first time in the Philippines kasi.

I don't really know if it will. I just want to make a good impression on our VP. I'm actually not happy because I like our former VP better (who endorsed my recent promotion)

Also, medyo naawa ako. It's his first time in the Philippines kasi.

Any suggestions where I can take him on Nov 1 and 5, 6?

I was thinking Makati, BGC, Tagaytay, or your not so favorite mall, SM MoA.😆

But sometimes, foreigners want more of a cultural tour. Fort Santiago, Rizal Park. Maybe you could ask your VP what this new guy likes.

Hope somebody could come up with better suggestions.

German right? Don't bring him to the beach,- automatic maghuhubad iyan.... hehehe

I'm thinking Intramuros nga. Okay kaya on November 1? But the problem is I am not familiar with the area at all.

Yes he is German. Pag uwi ng boss ko next year, dalhin ko nga sa beach HAHAHAH!

Yes I hate MOA or any SM mall Our former VP is on a long vacation, nagkasakit na from stress That's the reason why we have a new VP, our old VP broke down his teams so he will have less responsibilities.

If he heads your business unit, then maybe yes.

Pero if hindi naman, then maybe no.

Yes. He is the boss of my boss and he is based at our HQ in Europe. Newly promoted (effective November 1).

I'm not the reason why he is going here since I'm the only person under him that is based in Manila (was supposed to be transferred to HQ in 2016). He is working with another department pero ako lang kasi kakilala niya sa Manila hahaha

Then that would be a BIG yes!

Pero you can tour him once lang, no need for follow-up tours.

If i were the boss, i would be extremely pleased that someone took the effort to show me around on a holiday.

    Once is enough, i guess?

They love this less warm season on our beaches! Bring some sun block and a girl to rub it on him. 🤣

actually, big NO. filipinos lang ang nageenjoy sa mga replicas na yun. foreigners want the real thing. authentic not fake. ikaw ba pag pupunta ka sa germany ang pupuntahan mo yung fake na german castle? syempre hindi.

mam cathy parang mahihirapan ka sa nov 1. isang cemetery lang daanan mo +1 hour na yun sa travel time nyo. intramuros na lang on nov 1. old walled city, san agustin and manila cathedral. but i think you should call first if they are open. how about yung guided tour?

    take him to mount pinatubo

the short climb is easy naman and i'm sure you'll both enjoy the 4x4 ride through crow valley w/ those towering lahar walls as your back drop. just don't do it on a rainy day because things could get dicey

Replicas? Diba they are old authentic houses that they just transported there?
